It doesn't help that the Trump Supporters who were hip and railing against the obnoxious SJWs of 10 years ago are equally, if not more obnoxious and easily offended more than ever.
They sort of always were, they just flew under the radar and tricked a lot of young people like yours truly back then. I was young, stupid, and surrounded by people in the same predicament. I didn't have a grasp on those assholes' true colours, I didn't really picture in my head that they'd get in charge then proceed to act exactly like their opposition. All I knew is that I hated tankie socialism and communism, which is fair. I still do. And the Democratic party was flirting with those types on a global scale in order to appeal to
their young voters. You had Obama visiting Cuba, Castro Jr (Turdeau) over in Canada crying when Fidel Castro, rest in piss, went to hell where he belongs for betraying the moderate Cuban revolutionaries Lenin style. Trump was the ultimate fuck you to all of that bullshit.
Now, yes. The roles are reversed. We've since found out that Gassad is not the "Lion of Damascus" but a genocidal tyrant instead. Putin is not just a guy trying to keep the peace in Syria, he's a war profiteer and a consummate Russian supremacist and imperialist. And Donny wouldn't make America great again, Donny would do the opposite of that. He would sell out the one guy who still has cojones to fight for our freedom from ziggers, Zelenskyy just because Putin is his daddy. And he would probably also turn a blind eye towards the one region that still has the mettle to oppose China wholesale, East Asia because he somehow has a homoerotic relationship with Rocket Man Kim Jong-Un and likely secretly admires Xi like he does Maduro in Venezuela.
In between that, and on the domestic front yes, feeling like he's ENTITLED to another presidency when he accomplished nothing but xeets and embarassments during his turn in the Oval Office does smack heavily of the Clintoris led party's sheer arrogance. For fuck's sake, the people surrounding him, even his OWN VP PICK have stated that they want to nepote every institution in the entirety of the United States in the name of patriotism or some shit. It just don't get
any more establishment than that.
I'm not true blue, I'm not ok with the astroturfed Manchurian candidate Kamala Harris. I'm not ok with Biden's govt. being all but overtly confirmed to have been run, and is still being run by a shadowy cabal of dementia wranglers. But it really does say something when I weigh that against Trump, and see it as the lesser evil somehow. Trump has become the embodiment of every fear I had back in 2016 when it came to a Benghazi Bombshell Clintoris term.
