It's probably harder to take him out of context when he has the ability to write more. Him being on Twitter definitely made more headlines because everybody was already there. Most of the journos that made a living out of writing stories about every tweet he made didn't seem to follow him to Truth. At least he's not doing TikTok.

He was definitely better, in terms of effectiveness, on Twitter because there's no real substance to his messaging. If he's bumping against a character limit, he's basically just presidential clickbait, while if he has more room and no adult supervision, it's much clearer how he has no real basis for much of what he says. It's just a spotlight on his narcissism.

His comms only ever really worked on those who want to use him as some sort of ladder (whether that be someone feeling left out of progress, a grifter getting shekels from the flock, or someone who knows him who will use his proximity and favor to climb). It's always been pretty shit.

His in party approval rate is still historically high. I don't really think anything DeSantis has done had much to do with that. DeSantis is supposed to be the peel off candidate for RINOs and never-trumpers, both of which would prefer Republicans losing overall if it prevents Trump from winning. The only block they really share are conservatives that naively think Trump's policies are great but Trump isn't. They don't realize that the media is going to shred any republican and not just Trump. Just look at Vivek. The daytime TV hosts are fucking annihilating him over pretty much nothing for no other reason than he's polling above 3%.

VIVEK RAMASWAMY HOPS OVER DESANTIS IN TURNING POINT STRAW POLL​

Over the weekend people attending the conservative Turning Point Action conference overwhelmingly voted for President Trump in a Republican primary straw poll. 87% backed Trump as the republican nominee.

That was no surprise. What was a surprise was candidate Vivek Ramaswamy who came in as second choice for the GOP nominee behind Trump.

Charlie Kirk stated:

“Vivek really showed up this weekend and the Turning Point Action straw poll results prove it. 51% of respondents picked this man as their 2nd choice candidate. Pretty remarkable how far he’s come in a very short amount of time.”




Vivek has leapfrogged over Fox News’ favorite, Ron DeSantis. In fact, DeMeatball did not even bother to attend the conference and the attendees expressed disappointment. “Vivek showed up and gave a great speech, and he was the clear second-choice favorite among our people” Charlie Kirk added.


We have no ax to grind against DeSantis, but the Florida governor is not drawing big crowds, nor is he generating a lot of excitement. Perhaps it would have been better for Ron if he had waited to run in 2028.

As far as a choice for vice president, 30% percent of respondents picked Kari Lake at 24%, said Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL). Surprisingly, 22% said Ramaswamy. Maybe it should be no surprise. After all, Vivek is a terrific on-point MAGA speaker who is unafraid to debate anyone. Ramaswamy would quickly make mincemeat out of Biden. While a Trump/Lake ticket could be a sound path to victory in 2024, we will have to wait and see who Trump chooses as his vice president.

In the meantime, the frog pond will be hopping till the GOP primary in 2024.

I still thank the blowhard for getting us out of TPP, raising the minimum wage on H1-B visa workers (a huge thorn in the side for Silicon Valley), not starting any new wars (though he came dangerously close with Iran with the murder of Solemani in 2020), and actually getting the ball rolling with US-China decoupling.

However faint the praises of Trump may be, they still exist and must be noted.

It's insanely early in the primary season. Only shut-ins ans losers participate in pools this early. This why Dr. Ron Paul would always looks good early for the GOP polling and uncle Bernie can keep running his grift on redditers.

Once the majority of voters (aka "employed people") start paying attention and participating, the polling data tends to change significantly.

If I could ever imagine his narcissism contributes to extreme anxiety for those still stupid enough to support Trump at this point. They all act as if they speak from God's word but are too much of a baby to admit support of many of God's actions and laws when pointed out to them (notably Trump behaving more like the Antichrist many have said to have condemned which I am now convinced it's no accident at this point).
