Does anybody know how Kiwi counts thread views?

I'm wondering if returning farmers following threads contribute to the view-count or if the views are monitored?

I'm not actually sure. It's probably unique IP views, otherwise our busiest threads would be tens of millions of views by now.

Hmm, well I hope so because the Ross thread has over 20k and I really hope it's not just due to the same people coming back over and over.
