Now I know what you're thinking. "Oh, it can't possibly be worse than those starving kids in Africa!" But before you jump straight to the post button and publicly embarrass yourself, I strongly encourage you to read the whole thing.
I didn't go to college. I live alone with my pet in dying small town. I work a dead end job at a shitty little local dinner with a penny pinching boss and a jackass co-worker, and I'll probably be here until I die. I actually like being a cook, so that part isn't so bad, but the pay sucks and the work environment is terrible.
My boss is an old Navy guy who would sell my ass for pocket change. The only other co-worker on my shift is a guy a little older than me. He's a failed musician who didn't have a plan B, so he's stuck here just like me. I've tried really hard to make friends with him, if only to make work a little more bearable, but he's one of those midwits who thinks he's a misunderstood genius and he's too good for everybody else.
My only real friend is my fat neighbor from down the street. He means well, but I swear he's borderline retarded. Guy basically lives under a rock.
These days I'm not sure my dick ever existed, much less still works. I've damn sure never had anybody touch it. The only girl to move here in years was this smoking hot nerd chick from the deep south, but she friend zoned me as soon as we met. She's got it bad for some roided out lifeguard she met at the local gym. I'm somehow both squishy and scrawny at the same time. I can barely bench press the bar.
But I could still probably live with all that, except for one thing. One little thing that keeps me up every night. You know the worst fucking part?
I live in a pineapple under the sea.
