1) all doctors want to help you and 2) a doctor isn't going to prescribe high blood pressure meds all willy nilly. So if your shit wasn't any more elevated than usual, that means your 'usual' blood pressure is high enough for meds. Her poor body.

She literally cannot stand up long enough for a shower, can't walk to her own doctor appointment without almost dying, and then was told her leg is losing circulation...but all of those things won't make her any more serious about her weight loss.

I wasn't able to sit down so then I had to stand. I had to stand for about 15 minutes and I'm not used to that. I don't stand on a regular basis. The longest I stand is daily in the shower.

She's really doubling down on claiming she showers daily, isn't she? Wouldn't it take longer than 15 minutes for her to fully clean herself in the shower? @Dog Prom 3D

So, after being told she has sleep apnea and high blood pressure, she was told "You're healthy, gorl!"

The doctor then gave her a green light to keep right on eating until January 1st, which was a great relief to Amberlynn.

Funny how every doctor, therapist, and dietitian she consults always lets her have as much food as she wants.

It's great to hear that there's nothing wrong with her though!

It's so sad how she latches on to people after one meeting. This doctor really cares about her---she's not just another patient!! ! And the doctor wants her to join the office weight loss pool---because she really cares!! Like hello Amberlynn, we know you were abused as a child but can you let go of this bizarre savior complex you have? A dietician, a therapist, a doctor: none of these people are going to be your parents and save you. These people are just like all her diet plans---she thinks this is the magic bullet for a couple days then discards them.

I love how she still thinks of herself as healthy. She's sobbing in the office and the doctor is trying to make the point that there is currently nothing majorly, irreversibly wrong with you YET, you have a chance to do something about it, and she takes that (with her elevated blood pressure and sleep apnea) as fine.

I do genuinely love that the doctor told her low carb rather than suggested it. 'We're doing it from Jan 1st'. I know we've made a lot of jokes about her doc but points to her, she realises that there's no way AL is going to stick to anything over Christmas and is just telling her 'you have this and you're doing this'. I wouldn't expect AL to usually take that from anyone, but maybe she had a moment of clarity as she was crying in the office between gasps from not being able to walk the corridors? I know.

You watch, she'll collect herself and remember she knows better and start protesting that low carb isn't for her. How many hours do we give her on it once Jan 1st rolls around?

Any doctor that would tell amber she’s healthy at her size is either drunk, not qualified or both. I’m guessing she got a much worse diagnosis but is thinning it out for her audience.

And she's still under the impression that she can magic away her fat. "Help me lose the weight!" Lady, help yourself lose the weight. Magical singing doctor can't put in the work for you, and showing up to those weigh ins won't automatically make you less fat.
