I kind of do, but not in the autistic way.

Some months ago I traveled in one, and it was pretty comfortable and relaxing. I also like the style of old ones (like in Harry Potter, or some Ghibli movies) that I find very aesthetically cool let's say.

I can hear the trains from my house. So if I hated them it would drive me crazy. I can also hear the "Doors are closing" robo voice from my window. I have learned to live with my trainbro. He ai-aight.

I like the look of old steam trains, I like how efficent they are, running goods across our country almost un noticed by the average person, like they have for 200 years.

I've been on a few train dinner cruises, which were enjoyable.

Not autistic enough to play train simulator, or be a train watcher.

I wish they were more prevalent for general public travel. I'd like to ride one of the sleeper trains but it's too expensive when I could arrive 20x faster by plane for a fraction including the 12 hours fucking around in the airport, or arrive 10x faster by driving and save even more money.

trains are better than planes if you have the time to travel, i would rather be on amtrak for a stupid long time than deal with all of the bullshit and humiliation rituals associated with going on spirit airlines or whatever
