I have a tendency to delete posts after sending because I feel like they aren't worthwhile to keep up. This is a bad habit I've been told.
I still feel guilt for having 200 posts within just 3 months of joining. Then I see some people with several thousand and wonder what the fuck they're doing with their lives. I also have a stalker that shames me for how often I post, so there's that.
I sometimes feel like im not contributing since I post more in off topic then lolcow threads but easily affirm to my self it's better not to shit up important threads when I don't have to much to say.
On posting to much unless you putting toji numbers your probably fine, a hundred a month is nowhere near the danger zone.
I only deleted post if I feel I'm genuinely wasting people's time by posting them, like q&a threads somehow even worst then my normal ones, or I find my self getting opinionated on shit I don't actually care about.
You'll make bad post, that's life, let it roll past you. Just remember, if reading what you said year ago doesn't make you want kick your own ass that means you haven't grown enough.
Every day I'm on here, I fear that one day someone will uncover something I posted long ago that will make everyone realise the faker that I am and I'll have to spend the rest of my life constantly fearing a kiwi to be waiting around the next corner.
I feel more guilty for telling ya mum "no I've had enough blowjobs this week" than the 10,000 other nonsensical gibberish posts I've made on here over 5 years ...
I don't delete posts because I check for retardation before posting. I think my filter has a pretty high success rate. Who cares how many posts I have. I don't use social media or watch TV. It's just time spent posting instead of doing those inane things. Have you seen how long people can doomscroll like zombies? At least my internet time requires some action and brain cell usage.
No, I actually should post more but I feel that I might not really contribute much to lolcows or more "serious" threads and I would just inadvertently parrot something that someone has already said, and it would be best to avoid bloating threads regurgitating the same opinions just in a different flavor. For this reason, I usually stick to off-topic threads but even there, I rarely find threads that are worth posting in. Some of the threads I liked while lurking started to slow down dramatically to the point where potential discussions are too slow or not engaging.
I've deleted a couple of posts due to occasional phonefagging and accidental "Post Reply" presses, other than that I just poost away, zero fucks given.
Similar to @Cat tit bingo, I feel like I've got nothing to offer to any serious discussion and I just stick to the shitposting and the occasional music threads.
To put it bluntly, I'll never be a Brand Name Kiwifarmer (TM), which I'm 100% ok with.
