Not really anything for them to do that can't be explained by some form of the anthropic principle. "Weak anthropic principle (WAP)" haha.

Personally, I think there's a high power out there. Earth being in one of the most ideal positions to have life like the "goldilocks zone" is arguably no coincidence. On the other hand, I just think it's best to live as fine as possible and see what happens after the "mystery box".

As a deity? I'm sure there's something out there beyond space and science. Faith is a wonderful idea

Sure.

Short version: I think it's important to hold yourself to a unrealistically high moral standard (or ultimate good) for the sake of personal improvement. God can be exactly that.

Earth was actually the second save file started, but it's also not the last one made.

Yes; I am religious. I've been through some rough patches in life but I've never lost my religion or seriously doubted the existence of some form of higher power. Questioning God's actions is different from questioning existence, which I have done, but I've not ever seriously thought about atheism.

And why would I, really? 99% of atheists I've met online and IRL are either just bitter because they've not led a pristine life or want to be that way because it absolves them of the guilt they feel by being degenerates (i.e. constant reckless partying and harming others). What's attractive about that? You guys aren't advertising with your best.

I tend to keep everything to myself, though. I'm not afraid to talk about it when people ask me but I prefer to "lead by example" as they say. Simply put, I am not cut out to be a missionary.

Maybe not the Christian or Islamic or Jewish or Buddhist god, but I do think there is some sort of incomprehensible (In a good, sanitary and non-tentacled way), all knowing force out there that acts like an approximation to God. It probably doesn't know we exist (That or it does, and is just pre-occupied with something else right now to help us out), but nonetheless cares about us in every way, understands our issues and fuck ups, and in the end embraces what we are.

Of course, unless you're an asshole. Then it's fun time in the clown house downstairs, or a close approximation to it.

Never let jewish and arab peasants become one with nature because I mean seriously, have you ever looked at the last 500 years of civilization and wonder why there hasn't been one big mass self holocaust of 90% of the world's population?

“There is no one else,” I said. “In this universe, there’s just you and me.”
You stared blankly at me. “But all the people on earth…”
“All you. Different incarnations of you.”
“Wait. I’m everyone!?”
“Now you’re getting it,” I said, with a congratulatory slap on the back.
“I’m every human being who ever lived?”
“Or who will ever live, yes.”
“I’m Abraham Lincoln?”
“And you’re John Wilkes Booth, too,” I added.
“I’m Hitler?” You said, appalled.
“And you’re the millions he killed.”
“I’m Jesus?”
“And you’re everyone who followed him.”
You fell silent.
