It's a great idea for a thread. You could probably lump in every high-ranking post on r/AmITheAsshole into that category.

I'm more looking for their attempts at writing novels or short stories. Sometimes I like to visit r/writing and have a look at their samples they offer. (note all bad to be fair)
I particularly like detective fiction because the detective is always the writer themselves and their shortcomings always cause the police department to overlook their genius. Add in some rotten prose and you have a recipe for comedy.
Aiden felt disappointed and saddened. This was a "real" man's world. How could a trans man possibly crack this case open?
Suddenly, Aiden heard a voice. "Are you Aiden Sappleton?", said the voice inquisitively.
"Yes", Aiden replied tentatively.
"The same Aiden Sappleton who solved the Merryweather case last year?", said the voice probingly.
"Indeed", said Aiden acknowledgingly.
Aiden turned inquisitively on a sixpence to see a short beared man standing probingly before him.
"Please let me introduce myself", said the man tentatively. "My name is Noah", he continued with probing inquisition.

The Fanfiction Horrors might scratch that itch in the meantime, but I totally get what you're saying. An r/writing Communiry Watch thread would be worth making.
I'm someone who's very passionate about writing, characterization, storytelling, yada-yada. When some fatass shut-in posts their bullshit and they're lauded by fellow retards just 'cause their words are verbose and flowery (exactly as in your example), it sends me into tardraging fits. Prose has to be helpful, after all. It's so obvious when it's purely ornamental and/or the author insisting upon her own intelligence.
I'd like to make the thread myself, but it's physically painful for me to sift through what people consider good writing nowadays.
