So....yeah. A live action Winnie the Pooh sequel/reboot movie with a grown up Christopher Robin re-encountering a hideous CGI Pooh is coming out

Coldly and cynically calculated to drive millennial manchildren mad with autistic nostalgia for when they were shitting in pampers and watching a gay bear cartoon

They already did this premise with Hook and it worked because it had pirates and magic instead of a talking bear with the personality of the least annoying patient in the nursing home. They need to make a movie about the Winnie the Pooh from the newspaper comics who was just an unapologetic dick to everyone for no reason.

It should be a horror movie.
“Why did you leave us Christopher” as all the denizens of the hundred acre woods start groaning as their rotten forms pour out of every crack.
Nah. We need a live action adaptation of Dirty the Pooh
"Its time for assembly.............FROM HELL!!!"

When I saw Pooh in the trailer I thought it was one of those Snuggle fabric softener commercials with the bear.

Get a feeling this is going to be one of those movies where a premise is sillier that the movie itself. Call me optimistic, but I think this could turn out okay or even good :)

Wouldn't it be a smarter choice to pick an old IP that isn't banned in China?
