To this day i am at a complete loss as to why anybody would type something like this out for an underage, animal cartoon character in a Disney product.

Same reason someone would admit to liking Big Mouth, they are not afraid to tell on themselves.

Tbh I dont blame em, theyve probably been following the series for 30 years now and watched the first few with their own kids. Bit sad a lot of them dont have grandkids to drag with them and have to go alone, tho

I decided for a boys night out to go see the Odyssey and then get drunk afterwards with some friends I met in San Antonio. Anyways. I thought I did something wrong (other than give Nolan money). Because when we went to see it the theater was empty despite it being booked online. Backrow seats don't bother me for shit movies I nap through anyways.​

Not just popcorn but all concession and (Alamo theme) gift shop sales, as that IMAX in the River Center Mall haves one. I know that poster and friends didn't go to Boerne to watch it at the other AMC theater technically in the greater San Antonio area.

I was calling it in the Odyssey thread.

IMAX screens selling out while regular screens aren't in this economy sounds suspicious to me (are there even Odyssey popcorn buckets to begin with?). Gives me Captain Marvel vibes in how the ticket sales didn't match up with actual butts in seats. Anyone who's actually seeing it in IMAX needs to report back the audience numbers to quash that notion.

Well, maybe if they made movies people actually wanted to watch instead of thinly veiled propaganda or creatively bankrupt remakes (which you can only make a finite amount of and not every one will be a billion dollar grossing hit), they would be making money and they wouldn't have to lay off their employees. In hindsight, the concept of going to pay to see a remake of a film you've seen before. Probably wouldn't work in a cost of living crisis. Neither would, here's the next piece of shit, sub par film.
