Funny because she don't look Bi-racial. thats another thing is that why does Hollywood have an obsession with having Bi-racial girls be black when in reality they also have whiteness as well?
Because the One Drop Rule is alive and well and everyone knows it, despite everyone pretending it's long gone.

I would 100% watch a Mulan live action remake. That has so much potential to be cool-- no songs or anything, just turn it into some dope martial arts war movie, and it could be really coo-

Oh wait, they tried that already and it sucked balls.

Oh well.
No songs? How are you going to have a cool action movie if you don’t GET DOWN TO BUSINESS

THE HUNS
Tbf, singing goes with a war movie. War songs have been a thing since forever.

It might be amusing to see Mulan marching along while everyone sings, "Do Your Balls Hang Low?"
I was thinking of "A girl worth fighting for" and how that sets the tone for the movie. It starts out jovial in order to lure you into a false sense of security that it will be a "band of brothers" style movie with kung fu and shit, only to end up with the village having been destroyed and them finding a doll belonging to a little girl in the ruins. The songs are not just something to sell CDs. They are important to the movie.

Damn maybe I CAN pull off that 1-16th Native shit. Hell I'll do 1-12th

Also if Blaze's (fucking stupid name I would much prefer just Monique or some nicer old nigress name) dad isn't working on the ranch with hus husband--I mean tough independent wife, good fucking luck the bank is gonna take that shit in under 4 years.

I get it, I get it. We all know how amazing that song is.

But if you're going to remake something, then make it different. And also make it good. lol.

A martial arts movie with Mulan could have been awesome. Alas, modern Disney did its modern Disney thing and made a large pile of shit instead. lol.

Ok here's my pitch for the live action Mulan remake remake: it's just a Donny Osmond live concert film, like that Taylor Swift movie. He performs songs from throughout Matthew Wilder's career.

It's better than my pitch - follow the beats of the Animated movie, but just have Mushu be Eddie Murphy in a really cheap, really shitty Dragon Costume, and have everyone play it completely straight.

it'll be even funnier with thousand year old modern Eddie slowly shuffling out defeated in life, coughing occasionally

I know the answer to this but I just want to state the question outloud.

Why does the Live Action Moana (the character) look like a 14 year old? Her Chest is flatter than Melonless Mac.

Mulan, played by a Chinese woman of average height (5'2") cranes her neck up to look at the 5'9" Eddie Murphy. "But you're so...tiny."

Where has all the color and joy and whimsy gone?
