Yeah, they bring back the voice of Mufasa but not the voice of Scar? LAME AF
It is. At least Mufasa's rightful voice is here, imagine the shitstorm otherwise.

did they change the hyenas names
Looks like they did if Ed and Banzai aren't here (if they're now called Azizi and Kamari), they kept Shenzi but didn't bring back Whoopi apparently.

I imagine the tumblr and WE WUZ KANGZ crowd will got nuts over this movie.
They'll probably bitch about how the director is a white dude and how the whole crew isn't made up of Kangz n shit.

So is Zazu going to try to be funny and give shitty political commentary about Pride Rock with there isn't enough red lions or some shit like that?
CURRENT YEAR IN PRIDE ROCK

If they were using this cast to do a new story based on an African myth I'd be really interested. As is I'm just feeling meh.

Hamlet with Lions didn't really appeal to me as a kid compared to Beauty & The Beast or Aladdin, and none of the "live action" remakes have really caught my attention. Couldn't even get through the first song number of BatB on Netflix before I just wanted to watch the animated version.

Última edición:
I don't want to be interested in this movie, but the music's hitting me right in the feels.

I mean...it looks like they just made the same damn movie but with CGI photo realistic animals rather than 2D animated ones.

Disney's obsession with remaking all their old movies in live action is just baffling to me, but shit, they make money, so obviously there is an audience for it.
