You know a Mage game with this kind of setup could work pretty well. Vampire one looks fun, ill probably be a sucker and get it.

But yeah you're right, game came out 3 years before Tumblr existed, let alone its popularization. I miss this era of janky games with actually likeable villains/villainesses.

It's funny that we're approaching double-digit numbers of Disco Elysium ripoffs, and yet all of them - including the ones from the actual creators - have at-best ripped superficial shit from the game without an understanding of what made it magic.

CLEARLY IT'S HAVING PERSONALITIES IN YOUR HEAD THAT CHIME IN RIGHT? LET'S DO THAT RIGHT
 
All these lame clones, and yet not one True Detective style one where you investigate occult related murders? I mean, come on, Disco practically laid out the blueprint for a true detective style game. Would it require too much effort like actual good writing, or is it too risky? Probably both. Ah well.
