If you didn't know what Digitiser is, basically it was a Brit Teletext thing run by some guy named Paul Rose (who went under the pseudonym Mr. Biffo) under The Daily Mail Group's Teletext company. After bringing it back as a blog (with an additional 2000 to the title) and writing for Brit kids TV, Paul Rose managed to create a video series with the same name. I personally find it pretty funny.
His humor on the original digitiser seems really good but digitiser2000 is a pretty standard rubbish gaming blog.
Mr. Biffo's found footage was really good at points but some of the humor that worked in teletext didn't translate very well. It also didn't help that when he did have comedy gold he was constantly interrupting it with unfunny rubbish. (Eddy Wally? in 2017? FFS)
The games review show interested me on kickstarter but I like very few of the UK retro games circlejerk and from the cast list 90% I knew I wouldn't like.
Watched the first episode after not really wanting to after seeing that excerpt where they sniffed sonic's rings. It was a mixed bag with some good bits but also the standard nostalgia critic esque rubbishy low budget interruptions.
Pioneer or murderer was my favourite bit and Mr. T's bins were a nice inclusion.
