Newest episode of Digimon Beatbreak has two children being hurt (one of them being essentially vampirized) and one digi's arms being cut off. The show is dark, alright.
One thing I don't get is the colors' scheme for the protagonist trio. Tomoro's lizard has a purple light for evolution but the Mr. Peeper bat has also purple despite the owner having yellow for the main color.

All of Discotek's people are weird shitlibs if you look at their twitter profiles. The fact that most of their sub translations are good means they've got a good tard wrangler somewhere down the pipeline is all. I expect that quality to slip though, based on their Lovely Complex release and their livestreams

Don't care, I have the Flatiron DVD release and that's fine with me. I can’t bring myself to involve myself with the English fanbase at this point, I'm tired of their wishy-washy approach to whether they should hate Chiaki J. Konaka or not due to their worship of Tamers.

Their Digimon sub translations are good aside from making Apocalymon non binary and all the kids respecting his they/them pronouns.
If what the tweet alleges is true, it's not really about the quality of translations. It's not some mystique art, plenty of people can do a good job. But you're gonna profit off of Konaka's work after trying to cancel him? Fat fuck MarcFBR also hates him according to the replies and he's the producer on these releases.

Americans are just used to every celeb being super lefty types. So, they have a hard time accepting that Japanese celebs do not have the same political agenda and are in fact a little conservative. People freaked out about Gackt praising Trump a couple years ago. Or Anno working with the LDP.
