Thank you for the footage. Interesting. Definitely a living thing. Too small and timid for a rat, though. Those fuckers can be large, and their fat tails are often visible even on a low-res video.
Perhaps a mouse?

A mouse won't nibble on her outer crust as she sleeps, at least. They lack the intestinal length and the stomach to digest flesh. Then again, Chatal is probably like 25% corn syrup by volume at this point...
On the other hand, the crumbs on her floor will sustain many generations of mice. A whole mouse utopia.
I hope she doesn't inhale any of the mice in her sleep or some shit like that. They can get pretty bold around humans who aren't too physically active.
