Phoneposter here, I’ve noticed in the past few weeks that YouTube embeds (and presumably others as well) start autoplaying if you so much as brush them with your finger, whereas before I definitely wasn’t getting this behavior, and I’m pretty sure I had to pretty intentionally click on the thumbnail to get them to start playing.

Granted, I can’t actually PROVE that there’s any difference, other than the subjective evidence that I’ve never had videos “autoplay” like that until very recently, and that nothing has changed on my end (new phone or whatever) that could conceivably cause this.

Anyone else running into this problem or am I crazy?

Probably have extra screen sensitivity turned on or something. It's a setting intended for people with screen protectors.

Or you just have fat faggot fingers.

Maybe you managed to change that setting on your phone, how it has to behave with YT-videos, unbeknownst to you?
There should be a solution on your device.

You're not going crazy, but I don't seem to have this issue with embedded YouTube videos on desktop, only on mobile. It seems to happen when I'm just scrolling through a page on a thread too.
