In any other state, someone who works as hard and honestly as I do would never have been homeless for so many years. Indeed, I never would have been made homeless in the first place. I also never would have been subjected to the cult of "Minnesota Nice" in the workplace, with all of its fake smiles and gossip and refusal to communicate and passive-aggressiveness and backstabbing and such.
Yet AMS Human Resources in New Jersey 1200 miles away did not protect me from this brutality - they exploited it as a pretext to attack me for their own mindless, bigoted reasons, instead. As I have said all along, I am not in this situation because of anything that I did. I am the most reasonable and easiest to work with person you will find. All anyone ever needed to do was TALK to me, if they had some kind of problem that I don't know anything about.
But nobody who is entirely alone, in as vulnerable a situation as I am, can survive this many simultaneous attacks from every direction. These people murdered me. The Accuser: Female, young, attractive, charming smile, big puppy dog eyes, drives a nice car, (presumably) housed. New employee who managed to utterly destroy the entire life of a coworker before her first annual performance review could be conducted. HR spoke with her, and she originated the (secret/unknown) harassment complaint against me where there was no harassment. Enabled, supported, apparently coddled, and rewarded by Human Resources.
The Accused: Male, old, ugly, losing his teeth, lazy eye, drives a death trap, homeless. Well-documented as one of our very best employees for 7 years, loved by customers, with no history of disciplinary problems. HR did not speak with me, and refused to identify the accusation against me. Savagely attacked, humiliated and destroyed by Human Resources. To my knowledge, Human Resources at all locations is comprised of FEMALES only....
