Dev attributes Sargon's clapback of calling him a communist the great evil that started his downward spiral. He wants nothing more than revenge for Sargon uttering the words that he thinks drove away his audience. Dev is also trying to get into the good graces of DGG, but failing miserably. At this point, any bit of Sargon that he can cut off is victory to him.
