There are so many great overhaul/remaster mods for the game, this isn't even the one I played, but I bet it's great. I can recommend: https://www.moddb.com/mods/gmdx Probably the most impressive thing is they added mantling and it somehow didn't just completely break the game.

Anyway, don't fucking buy slop, there's zero reason to. The GMDX mod rebalances tons of stuff in the game (really well), remade all the maps (really well), while keeping all the original dialogue and writing, plus it adds additional difficulty levels.

Aspyr did alright on the Soul Reaver 1 and 2 remakes atleast imo. These new models just do not look quite right though, especially JC. They look way too shiny in a very bad way.

The complete rape of the original artstyle and graphics is bad enough, but having to handle faggots getting a hold of this game and then regurgitate opinions on it will hurt a lot more. I am not so much worried about the zoomer normies, they might just ignore it or complain about the gameplay. But the journalist and pseudointelectual types and midwits are gonna be vomiting some hot fucking garbage.
