By what metric does constant flailing, screeching, nuisance posting make you less autistic than the crowd going "lets see how this plays out"?

Because, at the very least, they somehow didn't believe MW had a sextape of Phil getting backdoored with his personal strap-on ?
The autism level and sheer stupidity required to believe that can't possibly equate anything else.

Lets explain the rules of the gambling game Craps and, in particular, the "Don't Pass Bar".

In Craps, each player rolls dice and the active player moves clockwise around the table. There are two phases in Craps: the "coming out" phase, and then the main phase. When the player begins to roll his dice, it is the coming out phase. The first number the player rolls is the "on" point. The player must roll any number besides 2, 3, 7, or 12 to establish the "on" point and "pass the bar". Once the player is in the main phase, so long as he doesn't roll a 7, bets on the table will continue to pay out until he 7-outs.

"Crapping out" is not a 7-out, and specifically refers to rolling 2, 3, 7, or 12 before passing the bar and before people start making money. If you crap out, the table gets wiped and everyone loses their bets. Everyone is bummed and gives you the stink eye.

Except the Don't Pass Bar players. They bet against you. They bet on you rolling a 2 or 3 on your coming out phase, and only if you do Pass the Bar do their bets get cleared. While it's a legal bet to make, everyone at the table will hate you for betting against the player, because you winning means everyone else loses. If you do genuinely believe a player is unlucky and you're going to bet against him, you are to not celebrate if your Don't Pass Bar bet pays off. Collect your money and shut up.

I hold absolute contempt for the people who have been betting against the table and I don't even particularly care if she's real or not. I'm just in it because it's fun drama. Crapping out is a part of the game, and I did as much due diligence to load my dice as I can get away with. If this doesn't prove to be a false story I expect everyone to collect their Don't Pass Bar bets and shut the fuck up, otherwise I ask you leave my website, because people like you aren't welcome here.

In defence of Null and Neger, the entire situation was 'take or leave it' - something they both said numerous times. They verified that the person on here, the account on Twitter and the owner of the site appeared to be the same person and saw fit to verify with a degree of certainty that was correct.

That can be done by being able to change / post things on each account to show they control each element. At no point have they ever said 'she sent a verifiable picture/video proving she is the person in the photos' and that was made clear. What weight people put on this verification and the subsequent egging on of the board to believe tidbits of info is on individuals. A few subconscious 'filling in of the blanks' let this go on longer than it should.

There should be no relishing anything - those of us who didn't buy into the story might be less autistic, but we all take the L.

It also shows how easily they can be fooled into believing this nonsense.

I think I'm more disappointed by the fact it turned out to be some SoK wannabe detractor as opposed to the story being false. It was pretty clear that whoever was behind the account was pissed off at Phil, but I honestly thought it was going to be someone that Phil had wronged in some way, not another boring detractor. On the other hand, it is pretty funny that the antics of some rando detractor led to Phil having one of his most profitable months ever.

It's also pretty entertaining that at the end of the day, BSV did way more damage to DSP than MW did. I'll give whoever was behind the MW account some credit for getting BSV fired up enough to return in the first place, but I also think it's fair to say that BSV was bound to come back here just to bitch about KoP or something. I think no matter what he would have sperged out hard and started the dox saga, which is really what drove Phil's loyal paypigs away and actually did lasting damage. If anything, the detractor just gave DSP a much needed win after his very public and embarrassing defeat. And that was all from someone who didn't even give a shit about DSP in the first place.

It's too bad that MW just went full autism with their posts and is treating it like this is some anime RP where they're going to bring down the big bad. Seems like it was the most boring possible outcome for us.

So here is my last bit of whining on the subject:

Most people seem to be over this and accepting that it was a troll. They also seem to think that it was a net-positive because it was really entertaining, which it was.

But are we forgetting that this was actual, honest-to-god extortion? Kimberly Brink, who ran a website where she solicited and received payment from people threatened to reveal (non-existent) information and videos of Phil if he didn't pay her thousands of dollars.

Even though the videos didn't exist, Phil still could have been compelled to pay to get her to go away or not post doctored/unclear video. Even if Kimberly wouldn't have accepted the money (Which is my assumption as that would launch this into an entire new level of crime), she still could have forced him to move assets around to create liquid cash so that he'd be able to send money, and that's not an easy thing to do. This is all in addition to the fact that the troll was an attempt to ruin his entire livelihood as punishment for the crime of being kind of fucking stupid and bad at video games. Remember when people were posting he was acting "weird" on stream or that he wasn't talking the way he normally does? That's because his career was being destroyed by some sped as we was streaming live. You'd be acting pretty weird if you were in that situation too.

Basically, what I'm saying is that I don't like the idea of people giving props to Kimberly for her le epic trolle. That shit isn't cool at all.
