Describe your last encounter with a Muslim. - Serious and troll posts welcome

Nice try fed, not falling for this one. Just incrimate yourself, so we can jail you for "hate" crime.

Just always pass a lot of them when I’m biking the trails in my neighborhood park. We nod and say hello. They live in little enclaves over there, families buy up buildings and pack everybody in so they can enjoy the perks of living in a developed country but carry on living like it’s still Mogadishu or wherever in private.

Waaaaaaaait a second I'm starting to doubt you're from good ol' Texas.

Visit Dallas sometime. Where I went to university, just about every third girl wore hijab.

Let's see here...

Date: Late 2007
Location: Somewhere in the REDACTED
Purpose: Translator

Overall, it was a great experience. As I spoke basic Arabic myself, he was very helpful with the interactions/conversations I had with the locals in REDACTED. The only thing I felt odd about the whole time he was with me was his asking if he could partake in the mid-day adhan when the call went out. I of course said "You may.", but it was the first time one of them asked me for permission to do so. Not that I would've said no, because it could've meant him siccing one of his jihadist buddies after me.

But overall, a great experience otherwise.

I was on the bus and developed a belter of a nosebleed out of nowhere. Obviously Muslim woman gave me some tissues, made sure I was okay, asked if I needed a taxi to Hospital, and was generally an all-round decent human being to me, more so than anyone else I've bled on. I sneezed and blood went everywhere, but she didn't bat an eyelid, and was dead helpful

There's a Muslim family who lives across the street from me. They love America since they know what living in a shithole can be like.l

I said "Hi Mo, long time no see - we'll have to catch up some time soon" as he walked past while I was sat outside a cafe having coffee. He smiled politely and agreed "It's been too long, gimme a call!" and carried on walking.

Mo's alright, good to share a smoke and a drink with. Only strict on holidays.

He should lay off the coke though.

The only thing Mo's likely to blow up is his nose.

The last real experience I had with a Muslim was this kid from Pakistan who wouldn't shut up about how terrible India was. Then there was this guy from Algeria who said it was some sort of paradise in the desert, and every other country in North Africa was s shithole. In fact most of my experiences are like that. Apart from actual Muslims, most of my experience comes from white kids trying to explain Islamophobia or the plight of the Palestinians to me

Years ago during dorm life some of us wanted to have a movie night with pizza.

I ended up arriving late and found out there was only vegetable pizza left, when asking why they ordered it instead of our usual they told me someone on the floor was muslim and they couldn't eat normal pizza.

That is how I became a racist.

The last one? I went to the store, and bought a few things. The cashier took my money and wished me a nice day.

Before that I looked in the mirror and saw one, this was particularly terrifying.

It always amuses me how the two countries fight over who's better when both of them are awful places to live.

I went across a desert to greet her with a smile — my camel was so tired it was hardly worth my while to tell her of my travels across the golden East; I saw her preparations and she invited me, first, to feast.
