All but two of the five cats I’ve had in my short lofe have been absolutely fine going outside in their own. One was old and likely just sort of found a place to die peacefully whereas the other simply ran away. Deo’s using the same argument that overprotective parents do with their children. Sometimes they need to learn through experience. I didn’t for a lot of things and I’ve started paying the consequences of that. Pets are no different in that sense.

In this case, Deo is posting gore to try to prove her point in order to win support for her cause. Yet as the post above shows it's all a facade, just like former trolls who go from telling trannies to kill themselves to telling "terfs" they should die.

Personal experiences with Deo on FAF in the past have taught me she's basically a classic case of "bully when she knows she isn't facing real oppo, whiny mewling twit when she is".

The fact that people are acting butthurt over Tumbles' "suicide attempt" is friggin' hilarious, and moreso that they're jumping on Deo for laughing (though she should have had more sense than to be public about that). Dude tried to slit his wrists with plastic sunglasses and then threw himself down a half-flight of stairs when that didn't do anything. There was nothing effectively suicidal about any of it, though it wasn't for lack of trying. He was just a hilariously abysmal failure.

Furries are very "trend-prone" as a community. I wouldn't discount the possibility that they got some collective bug up their asses about outdoor cats.
I personally don't think outdoor cats are a great idea on the whole, but leave it to a spastic like Deo to overreact hilariously to the whole thing.

She's hypersensitive as a deliberate affectation of the clique she wishes to fit into/rule. It's a deliberately cultivated thing. You cannot just say "Please don't do this and here's a reasoned explanation why" - you have to scream at people and spam gore at them and call them foul names. The former approach would actually be more effective, but the point isn't to be effective at getting people to keep their cats in. The point is to prove to everyone around you how much righteous indignation and cutthroat ruthlessness you embody, in order to cow and/or impress.Damn, girl. Heel! Heel!
It's always fun to come across the crazies like this one. She's definately top five for most hypersensitive I've taken time to actually research. I wonder how she'll react if Trump wins again.

Damn, Deo, I mean... I actually agree with you on not letting cats outside unless supervised (not just for the safety of the cat, but also for the safety of wildlife in the area, as cats tend to kill small animals for sport and depending on the location, can endanger vulnerable species), but if you can't argue your point without guilt-tripping and posting gore... you're better off just not making it at all. Jesus Christ.
Also LOL at people thinking Tumbles the Stairdragon was a serious suicide attempt.

Just kind of struck me as a pitiful bit of attention whoring, and since I don't really remember hearing anything else about that particular attention whore, a probable one-and-done at that... and there are scads of pitiful attention whores in the fandom and most are more consistently amusing than that particular person.
Dunno, you'd think that sort of person would produce more than a single meme over their stay in the fandom.

Don't forget, many furries consider all of their income disposable and think that "can afford" means "have the strictly necessary amount of money" and not "fits into the budget". Rent is coming up? Fuck that, gotta pay for the convention!
Now don't forget that furries are always ranting on about how they are struggling to pay their rent.
