So what do you guys think of Denis Villeneuve’s films? I legitimately think he’s one of the best directors working nowadays.

I enjoyed watching Sicario and that is one amazing movie. I hope he keeps up the momentum with his upcoming Dune project.

Shooting scenes from Polytechnique, Denis Villeneuve's dramatization of the 1989 Montreal Polytechnique massacre.

It's doubly chilling for someone like myself who is somewhat familiar with the general maze-like Université de Montréal architecture, though I've never been in that exact building.

Up until Blade Runner the only movie of his I saw was Sicario. But I fucking loved that movie. I'm gonna start watching news on his projects like a hawk from this point on.

I've seen Blade Runner 2049 and loved it, didn't think much to Arrival and may need to check out Sicario.

I honestly thought that Polytechnique was one of his weaker films alongside Maelstrom. Maybe it’s more so due to it being based off of a 20 year old Canadian tragedy but the themes in the film honestly came off as sort of preaching-to-the-choir. The cinematography and performances were great, though.

It blows my mind that he's put out movies every year since 2013, and they've all been great. His streak from Prisoners to Blade Runner's gonna go down in history as one of the best in film.

I'm gonna check out his earlier films like Polytechnique and Incendies asap.

Blade Runner was my first introduction into the director which now makes me want to see his other works as he is going to be or is the next big director.
