Kamala Harris just released her medical report, something which used to be common at the Presidential level, Though it famously became farce with Trump. After all, everything Trump touches dies. VP Harris, by contrast, handled it with the class and professionalism we’ve come to expect from her. One comment from the article stuck out for me:
Harris is a better candidate than Trump in every way. More honest. More inclusive. Economic policy, foreign policy, military policy, education, infrastructure...there's no point on which the majority can't be convinced that she's better. Trump is as popular as he is because he isn't afraid to sell his awfulness to awful people, while Democrats are afraid to sell themselves to good people. So fix it.
Democrats have been far to shy about such matters. They’ve encouraged the view that everything they’ve accomplished has been bipartisan, while Republicans insist everything bad is the fault of the Democrats...with virtually no pushback from the Dems. The Democratic Party has allowed Republicans to define them, while Republicans have openly become the party of racism and misogyny, Christian Dominionism and white supremacy. In short the party of deliberate cruelty.
Democrats, be the party of kindness and understanding. Be the party of support for all, equality of opportunity and egalitarianism. To be a Liberal is to believe there is good in the world and to elevate that good.
Be the good.

On its face that is dead on right. In the way she meant it, she couldn’t be more accurate. There’s another level which points to a real opportunity for the Democrats.
