Democrats are just Better...Say it Loud​

Kamala Harris just released her medical report, something which used to be common at the Presidential level, Though it famously became farce with Trump. After all, everything Trump touches dies. VP Harris, by contrast, handled it with the class and professionalism we’ve come to expect from her. One comment from the article stuck out for me:

"It is clear to me that he and his team do not want the American people to really see what it is that he is doing and whether or not he actually is fit to do the job of being president of the United States," she said.

On its face that is dead on right. In the way she meant it, she couldn’t be more accurate. There’s another level which points to a real opportunity for the Democrats.

Harris is a better candidate than Trump in every way. More honest. More inclusive. Economic policy, foreign policy, military policy, education, infrastructure...there's no point on which the majority can't be convinced that she's better. Trump is as popular as he is because he isn't afraid to sell his awfulness to awful people, while Democrats are afraid to sell themselves to good people. So fix it.

Democrats have been far to shy about such matters. They’ve encouraged the view that everything they’ve accomplished has been bipartisan, while Republicans insist everything bad is the fault of the Democrats...with virtually no pushback from the Dems. The Democratic Party has allowed Republicans to define them, while Republicans have openly become the party of racism and misogyny, Christian Dominionism and white supremacy. In short the party of deliberate cruelty.

Democrats, be the party of kindness and understanding. Be the party of support for all, equality of opportunity and egalitarianism. To be a Liberal is to believe there is good in the world and to elevate that good.

The problem is that none of her family in Jamaca know who the elderly woman is, including her biological uncle (father's brother). Or how about the fact that she has been lying to the American people for four years about President Biden's horribly declining mental condition?

How about something we can categorically point to that Trump was objectively better than Harris at: the illegal immigration crisis and military matters. Under Trump we had the lowest rate of illegal immigration than we've had in over 40 years, and we weren't engaged in any new military actions. In fact, Trump was able to negotiate peace in the Middle East and with North Korea. Under Biden/Harris? Russia invades Ukraine and the US begins spending billions in taxpayer money to arm them, antagonizing Russia. The rest of NATO gets goat-roped in to helping as well. China begins making more and more aggressive overtures towards Taiwan. Hamas attacks Israel, Isreal retaliates, the US gets dragged in, Iran gets involved, and now Israel is retaliating against Iran and attacking other Arabic countries. We could be potentially on the brink of World War III, this time against nuclear armed nations, because of the weak leadership of Biden and Harris. And then there's the border going from being the most secure it had been in decades to having the doors flung wide open and a big neon "Welcome" sign erected just mere weeks after Biden and his "Border Czar" Kamala Harris were sworn in.

And yet there are still daffy cunts like the author who genuinely believe Harris is better than Trump, indeed that Democrats as a whole are better than Republicans in general, and all because they are too wrapped up in their emotions to see reality. They are allowing their feelings regarding a political party to blind them to truth and facts, logic and reason. Under Democrat leadership the United States is at it's worst, most fragile state since the Civil War ended, and we may well be on track for a second one.

You do, it's an important and beneficial trait in any person to be respectful and charitable towards others.

Problem is, what they call kindness is just weakness and self-censorship. You're not supposed to condemn things as wrong or criticize anything because it would be "unkind". It means supporting their ideology without question or debate.

Sometimes you have to state hard truths without lessening the impact because that is true kindness, you genuinely want the person to improve or change their behavior because it will benefit them. If anything these people in fact lack this trait and are as a result terrible leaders.
