Why the fuck did Vickers goad Ralph into taking a paternity test for the kid, only to try to walk it all back now that Ralph is paying child support? If Ralph disappearing from their lives were the actual desired outcome, Vickers could have just let things be before Ralph had established paternity.
It’s simply baffling. There’s no way he makes enough $$$ from streaming to offset the cost of all the legal chess he’s playing. Doing all this shit purely for attention (or even spite) is just too alien for me to recognize.

Defamation suits like this are almost impossible to win, that's why they're so rare. Vickers has to PROVE that Ralph intentionally lied about him. That basically requires Ralph admitting to it somewhere on record and Vickers presenting that as evidence. He needs the equivalent of a tweet from Ralph or clip from his show saying "Yeah I know I'm lying about Vickers". Then he has to prove that he was damaged financially by the intentional lie if he does miraculously win the first part. This is in California too with very strong anti-SLAPP laws so if Ralph had $$$ to pursue it this could really backfire on Vickers.
Ralph's only concern would be the cost. Vickers is handing him another legal win though.

Ralph is incredibly lazy but the one motivator that can always get him to do something incredibly stupid with a lot of energy is spite.
The funny thing is his spite is never anything that would actually harm or even annoy the enemy he thinks he's owning. He owned absolutely nobody by going to Portugal twice and getting his ass kicked both times. He owned nobody by sodomizing a barely legal teen and getting convicted of a sex crime and permanently stuck with child support. He owned nobody by fleeing to Mexico to live like a broke pussy.

Vickers is just hoping legal threats and the carrot of no child support will get Gunt to surrender custody and Vickers some ultimate victory. I'm sure the no child support is tempting for Gunt.
If Vickers actually was in any way interested in this he would have made a private offer to Ralph and agreed to never to speak of the matter online, because we know Ralph only cares because of his e-ego, nothing else. Ralph would take it if he could get out of his measley $800 a month, but only if it was never leaked online.
I have a hard time believing her boyfriend wants to adopt Xander. Usually that sort of thing only happens after several years of marriage, and then usually only after a sibling is born from the union. I feel bad for any twenty year old who thinks adopting a child with a single teen mom is a good life plan, it's bad enough when they are the actual bio-father.
