Was that a typo or a freudian slip? lol. I assume he meant "big hit" but the amount of blatant scumbagism makes me think he just stopped giving a fuck about hiding his begging.

When he does his normal 4 hour stream he tends to do a 1 hour pre-stream, now he did a "8 hours" marathon and a 2 hour pre-stream... Adding to that almost 1 hour of break time, so his 8 hours streaming turned out to be 5 hours only, about a average stream!

I think my favorite part of the whole marathon is how he's actually trying to jump on the Minecraft train. I know we joke about Phil being years late to things, but this really takes the cake. I genuinely thought that would be one of the games he ultimately complained about being too boring or implying it was for moron kids or something. Granted, it seems like the only reason it was a "success" was due to it being the first game, so it had the most donations rolling in.

He even tweeted people LOVED it so much he makes it to his go to chill stream game. Hard to imagine, I was so infuriated by his incompetence I had to clock out earlier. I do agree, he equals success with the amount of money he received.

Enemies can't spawn in the lava cuz the lightsource won't allow it and no NPC can spawn on top of liquids anyway. And it was a zombie-villager.
 
Phil's sheer ignorance of how to play Minecraft means people will need to donate more often to instruct him how to play. Phil's being extremely slimy here, playing a game he obviously dislikes and isn't willing to learn, hoping to maximise profit from it.

He will NEVER play a MH game ever again. Not after 4U. MH is a series that requires time, dedication, and most importantly skill. Phil has none of these things. He isn’t going to take the time to invest in the game and have fun.

i'm just picturing a 40 year old phil
waiting for fortnite to install on stream as he talks about how he has his finger on the pulse of what's hot
then playing one round, and doing well by hiding
then he crows about how the game is so good, and since the game is good you should donate too
then tries to do the default dance sitting down

or maybe by that point he'll refuse to make any movement until someone gives him money and spends 75% of the stream staring at his phone until someone gives bits telling him what to do (ITS LIKE TWITCH PLAYS POKEMON DOOD!! INTERACTIVITY!!!!!)

D$P announced his plan to add Minecraft to his 'go-to games' list while playing it. His most telling explanation occurred while he was collecting sand. D$P breaks into a tale of how he had been speaking with some Minecraft content creators on Twitter and was interested in how "interactive" they said the game could be when it came to their fans. While it is true that Minecraft may have generated the most funds due to it being the first game played, D$P also saw how eager viewers were to PAY to tell him how to play the game with Grazy dropping consistent cheers to do just that to the tune of $41. A handful of others repeatedly taped 50 cents to their Minecraft wisdom so that D$P would 'see' it and indeed he did.

He skipped TWO games Patrons paid to see him play: Ruiner ( which was immediately sidelined to be 'placed on the back burner and played if time allowed' aka no intention of being played whatsoever ) and Stardew ( which was dropped during the 'marathon').

During his first Pay-me-tons playing of Minecraft, he had a wiki up and spent almost as much time looking at the wiki as he did the chat. This was before he had tips/cheers on Twitch.
What I find telling is D$P remembering that an ancient Mike Tyson game he had not played in what I will wager could have been Decades had a three knock down KO, but could not remember the simplest things about a game he was playing at the moment and had played before only a few years ago.
 
He is delusional and thinks that the few donations from the pre-stream and early on are related to Minecraft. Those donations were just the paypiggies getting their money in early.

He seems to think there is this amazing depth and interesting content in Minecraft now that his fans want him to explore. Yes Phil I can't wait to see how you react to a Jungle biome or a wild ocelot!!! EPIC GAMER STYLE! So chill!!
