Pretty much everyone has done nothing but spend for like the entire existence of the fed. The stability of the 50/60s was because every other economy in the world was literally bombed to dust. We had a surplus under Clinton IIRC but that was only because of the tech boom (Bill had nothing to do with silicon transistors or e-commerce) and it was quickly squandered by Bush on Medicare and finishing his father's dynastic wars in the sandbox (and by finishing I mean continuing indefinitely).

It's less a 'this guy, that guy' issue and more a "this is what happens when you have a secret meeting on Jekyll Island and then sell the entire country to jew bankers" kinda thing.

Nice deflection, but YOU said it wasn't Democrats' fault, so why were THEY doing what they could to STOP the wall? At best your argument is "it's also kinda maybe the Republicans' fault", and maybe they're incompetent, but the fact is Democrats railed against it and blocked it, calling it evil and unAmerican, etc, they're the primary reason it's open, and they're in power now and it's STILL open.

The best Democrats could do to shift blame was try to pass a bill that'd slightly limit--on paper--the amount of recorded illegals entering, even though no bill is needed for that and they played their hand by stopping Texas from closing the border.

You're correct. It's not politics in the sense of not featuring just one side, being a PAC, etc. It's ultimately a cow website that allows you to say whatever the hell you want, and the administrator does a great job of keeping it all separated and contained so that group x, y, or z don't start thinking they own the website. That's why there is a pro-Russia and a pro-Ukraine thread as opposed to either group being told to go pound sand Something Awful style. All in all this website is Sigil, and Null is the Lady of Pain.

I just don't understand why anybody would be here if their chief, and perhaps only concern is making sure however many states Trump will win rather than, idk, reading Fatrick's thoughts on the matter and laughing at them.

On less serious note other half of my brain just woke up, I read "Death watch" at first and hoped some sort of bloodsport then I looked at news ticker and I was disappointed.
 
I'm not watching this slop but judging by the fact that the only people I can find on twitter saying it was a blowout Trump victory are Elon Musk and people who can't pass a Turing test I'm gonna guess it wasn't a very good debate for anyone.
 
I tuned in to the debate and heard Trump mid sentence talking about someone eating their cats and dogs. Haven't looked into it. I wish the debate wasn't so nasty. Watching feels awkward and depressing like I shouldn't even be seeing this.

Been said a million times but the etiquette of these debates is dystopian in the way the shitty network tries to force gotcha moments. Kamala ran away scared and only agreed to even have a debate on her platform of choice where they could play softball with her. Trump has been demonized and shat on for a decade plus, everyone dog piles on him, he is on national TV surrounded by enemies who want to ruin his reputation, of course he is going to sound off kilter. Whole fucking thing is an ambush, televised.

Can't we just crowd fund some more parties? Get some internet money and marketing to fuel some more options. One would believe these 2 candidates are the last of a shitty era, but it will most likely be more shit choices from here on out unless the boat gets rocked.
 
Honestly, the half-pajeet handled herself well, but i'm fully convinced votes don't actually matter anyway. She's going to win regardless. The powers at be have been anointing successors for decades. The media, and machine have her in their pocket. The level of control, and organization they have over their base is far superior to what the republicans have.
