There is nothing wrong with ERP as long as there is a romantic connection behind it. For example, I have been ERPing with @The Lawgiver off site over the past month, but it is not degenerate because we were forming a genuine romantic connection. Or at least, we were.
Two days ago, I woke up to this message.

I was worried sick. We would ordinarily ERP every day, and if we were unable to we would tell each other well in advance. I freaked out, and contacted him everywhere. I spammed his texts, calls, Discord DMs, and even sent him a letter. I was freaking out, and was just about to make the 5 hour drive to his house, when I noticed this.

He wasn't in any danger at all. He just tried to ghost me. I guess he forgot about read receipts.
I was completely torn. Was I not good enough for him? Was he ERPing with other people?
I was willing to forgive and forget, but I didn't want to lose our 30 day goonstreak. I begged and begged for him to use his restores and goon just once more, but he pleaded ignorance.
Now, I find myself staring at his profile, with our streak completely gone. Knowing my luck, it of course happened on Valentines. Why do I even bother anymore?
