Honestly, my experience in A&H thread is different. People like @Blewberry Nausea , @The Last Stand are tolerated despite having criticism of Trump. Most probably because they are most of the time polite. There are also kiwis who joke about Zion Don or Epstein.

To add to the previous message, I tend to support a political side if they work towards my goals. Personally, I tend to put importance on cultural issues, since I think economics are downstream from the culture, but you also need to reverse the harmful economic policies of socialist flavour.
