It's really fucking hard to get a gorwn adult committed. Even with all his videos and tweets it would be a battle to get him committed against his will. Even then, he would have to want to change.

My guess at what Jace's rehab would be like:

"DEGAL NATION I AM GOING ON A STEALTH MISSION TO ESCAPE THE TERRORIST COMPOUND THAT MY BITCH MOM SENT ME TO TO GET SOME MOUNTAIN DEW AND BLUNTS."

this is all really concerning, the further this whole thing goes on the deeper the rabbit hole of his delusions gets.

Just because someone is a conservative Christian does not mean they are an ignorant mouth breathing Luddite. I've seen no evidence that Gail is a Christian Scientist or one of those other sects that don't believe in therapy and things that actually work. We know Jace has been sent to professional help in the past because he specifically mentions his refusal to take his prescribed medication, and priests are not allowed to make prescriptions.

I think it's her fear for Jace, and not any religious motive, that keeps her from seeking more professional help for him right now. She does not want to see him incarcerated or harmed somehow by bringing him to the attention of secular authority, so she turned to the only other option she sees: the church. While Pastor Faggot is nowhere near as likely to successfully help Jace as a trained therapist or doctor, he probably has ecclesiastical privilege and is less likely to bring Jace to the attention of the police and courts.

Jace's mom doesn't seem to understand that it would be much better for Jace in the long run if he or she were to seek professional help voluntarily. Things will be much worse for him if they let things go to where government authorities become aware of his activities all on their own.

Either way, it would be bad. Voluntary or involuntary, If he checks in or is forcibly checked into any mental institution..... They're going to know. My cousin works at one of those places with those ki
As far as I know he's never been convicted. He has however performed acts that would be classed as felonies should he be actually caught. Per the wiki "He once publicly admitted to crossing state lines in possession of an ounce of marijuana, a felony crime." So yes, he has technically committed a felony, he was never caught/charged.
That's what I was thinking. I should have said convicted felon. But if he hasn't been arrested convicted or sentenced, He's lucky, for now....
Now I don't wanna sound like a gloomy and doomy Mr. Negative, but at the way thing are going with Jace right now, via his Tweets and Videos, and Jace does something that lands him in the hands of law enforcement, or mental health professionals. Man..... That won't be pretty. And regardless of the two possibilities, Things will get ugly very fast, if or when the state gets involved... For me, it seems more like a matter of when, not if, but I'm probably not the only one who holds that opinion. But if that does happen, you can be sure, that will not be a pretty situation for the Marine.

That sentence isn't supposed to be cut off right? I don't want to be a grammar Nazi, but it looks like you were going somewhere with that sentence.

Good call. Fixed. I forgot to finsh my sentence I guess.
Either way, it would be bad. Voluntary or involuntary, If he checks in or is forcibly checked into any mental institution..... They're going to know. Some patients may leave, but as far as I can tell their names never do. That information is likely likely put in a database. Any small problem could land someone right back there, and into a state hospital. My cousin works at one of those places with those kinds of people. It wouldn't surprise me if Jace has raised a few concerned eyebrows in his area.

The therapist may be his pastor, according to the wiki.
I don't know where you got this idea, Pastor Faggot and Doctor Faggot are two entirely distinct and separate (yet equally important) faggots.

Wait, Jace has a criminal record with a felony charge? Is there an article in the wiki about that yet? I'm not questioning you as to whether this is fact, but I'm just curious as to what felony he committed. If this is true, I wonder if he realizes the full extent how a felony can turn your life around. Finding decent employment ( even if say he were to get a degree *cough*notgonnahappen* Cough). Still if it was a felony..... Damn.
It's funny you mention that, I was actually thinking of making an article "Jace and the Law" earlier. But no, it's not documented yet. Most people seem to think that the felony charge he got was from his DUI but we haven't had any concrete sources yet.

Must be more than a therapist if they are prescribing stuff for him.
Yeah, this is another thing, only psychiatrists are allowed to prescribe medication. This means that either:
  • There is a previously unknown Psychiatrist Faggot lurking somewhere in the shadows
  • Jace has been on meds for a long time and has since stopped taking them or is taking less of them then prescribed due to his self-medicating with illegal drugs.
Personally, my money's on the latter, since it goes a long way in explaining his downward spiral as well as his mood swings and general unpredictability.

I'm probably completely reading this wrong but you're saying Jace is actually a felon?

I can't wait for Jace to have a run in with the law and to hear what happens to him after he calls the nice police officer "Officer Faggot". There is a slang term in the Law Enforcement and Security professions for the sound a large Maglight makes when it makes contact with someone's skull at high speed, "tonk".

While I don't enjoy this quite as much as some of Jace's other stuff (The thing with Tyce, for example. As I've said on a few occasions, it's essentially just the two of them LARPing out their fantasies together) I'd feel a lot worse if it weren't so damned silly.

It's like... The Tyce thing is a good parallel. Videos of a guy trying to hunt down an old friend who betrayed him. It'd be pretty creepy if it weren't so overblown and ridiculous ("Careful! He's a Parkour Master!") I mean, for a minute there it was breathing the life back into my theory that Jace is just Sacha Baron Cohen in disguise. The Homeless video was about 50/50, but the car video with his mom broke it. That all was just too disturbing/depressing.

This is a similar sort of situation. I mean... I just imagine him trying to tactically parkour through his house to get a bag of chips or some shit.

Then I am reminded of his mother, and of all the "I AM STRYKER!" and I am reminded of how sad it all is.

I think it's more just an extreme form of larping. Back in highschool some friends and I had a fake "gang war" which ended with a us having a 4 on 4 "fight" that was pretty much us rolling around in the grass like retards. It felt real to us at the time though

Where do people keep getting this idea from that it's a choice between nothing and commitment to an institution? Just because Jace's mother might believe that doesn't mean we should also fall for it. We should know better. There is a broad spectrum of treatment possibilities before institutionalization. The thing about Jace voluntarily getting help is he'll have at least some input in the treatment he will get. If things continue to where a court forces treatment upon him he won't have even that.

If Jace continues as he is, it is far more likely he will eventually face institutionalization (or just ordinary incarceration) or worse than if he chooses to get help.

I know it's wrong, but I laughed when I read this..... *sigh*

I'll look a bit tomorrow when I'm not drunk and on mobile but I don't think jace is a convicted fellon. He wouldn't be in Missouri anyway for what we know about him. If he keeps on this track though he will be adjued mentally incompetent as soon as he gets arrested for something and goes for the insanity defence.

I honestly think jace is legaly incompetent and I'm a lawyer.

Jace said he only believes in "natural" weed as medication; I immediately thought that he might have heard some lunatic-fringe vaccination/medicine-denialist "natural medicine" nonsense from her mother or the Jesus Camp crowd... and predictably enough just interpreted that advice his own peculiar way.

I take it to mean he's talking about natural weed rather than your artificial skunk weed varieties.

Most family doctors can also prescribe antidepressants/antipsychotics, especially if it's just continuation of care (i.e the psychiatrist and family doctor have communicated in the past). For example, say you see a neurologist for migraines, and the neurologist puts you on Depakote. As long as the family MD has documentation on the meds (which most specialists, including psychiatry, usually dictate a written report to go to the family MD/referring MD), the family MD can continue to prescribe said Depakote so that you don't have to continue seeing the neurologist just for the Depakote. The possibility is there that he stopped seeing the psychiatrist, and is now getting said meds from his family MD...which if that is the case, it's also possible that the combination of meds he's on just stopped working.

Also, if he is Bipolar, it's very possible that he just stopped taking them once he thought he was 'feeling better', which triggered a manic episode...that is very common.

I own a Maglight, & they really do make that sound.
