Deadwing Dork has a smart business. He takes content from here or other places that is pretty shocking or weird but always interesting, stuff that always does well on youtube, but he doesn't make a short video on it getting across all the points they he could, but he does live streams and uses those unedited live streams as videos to cut down on work, Also got to make sure the stream last as long as you can make it even if it means talking really really slow or pausing the video every few seconds to say the same shit, as the longer the stream is the more time for people to donate super chats.

Yeah, sorta. It's mostly low-effort reaction content. He will crib a lot of his stuff to react to from the farms and will shout it out sometimes and his function is mostly translating stuff from here into a more friendly context. He got his initial burst of fame because he made some onision content before things really took off in that area and was on the ground floor. I used to watch his stuff but when I'm laughing it's usually because he's the joke rather than anything he's saying. I found one of the videos I'm thinking of about that but not the other, the second is him on stream with some egirl he was simping for and he gets super drunk trying to impress her or something. I think it was the two of them trying to read through Sonic for Real Justice.

I've tried watching a few different videos and streams of his and they're just insufferable. His commentary is pointless, he rarely says anything particularly insightful or funny, and he is completely incapable of creating any kind of narrative/story.

I can see the appeal of it as being whitenoise content where you can listen to something in the background while you do something else, but besides that I really don't get the appeal.

I am glad that this has been braught up because I was lookling at his catalogue of recent streams and cobtent and it seems like he is a more liberal leaning version of Mad at the Internet. When looking at the political content hbe considers propaganda it is your typical conservative content like PragerU but he also seems to hav e a dislike for feminist frequency meaning he could be another of those anti woke centrist normies.

This is not just about lolcow youtubers but also those that document drama and scandals but a fast majority of them are typical centrist normies who are reliant on following the laws of progressivism very much like most people on youtube, even the tthe anti woke types.

There have been many times in these videos where said person or group being talked about essentially commited the crime of having wrong ideas and opinions on race, sex or religion. While alot of the times its exposing someone for saying a slur, there are examples of what I stated such as the Jontron drama a few yourse ago, RWhiteGroose chat leaks, the weird Mike Matei comics, PragerU and Synthetic Man and others. While these people aren't perfect and are probably not even innocent in many areas, it is clear that any views that go against the proggressive mindset of equality, tolerance and inclusion gets use as a reason to hate said user.

What is worse than saying a user is just bad for not following proggressive laws, however, is when thosee views are coupled with things that are actually universially bad such as grooming, stalking, as well as Narcissistic and abusive behaviours. In otherwords sayiing something that sounds mildly sexist, racist or homophobic is being akin to a serial rapist to them.

Onee could be the most moral, cleanest person on Youtube but yet have everyone discconect withthem and have countless of exposed videos even by anti woke centrist and conservatoves just because they don 't subscribe to modern progressive ideology.

Part of the reason to bring this all up is because it is part ofa much bigger problem with modern day discussion which is the complete lack opf plurality of ideas and eveyone needing to follow the same moral paradim other wise they get ousted. Whereas society is becoming more "inclusive" and becoming more multicultural and diverse, the ideas people have are shrinking and becoming more and more restrictive and these lolcow, drama and scandal youtubers contribute to it by exposing everyone that goes against the modern day progresive moral paradigm as evil and "The worst person on the internet."

You make a good point and I understand the need to look respectable and optical and not look extreme in order to to keep others respect and the like. I just want to understand what makes my other example better?

I am starting to cringe at myself though sinceall my examples were just simple minded content creatorswhose purposes are entertainment not ideas except for PragerU. Better examples would have been actual intellectual types an not random users on the internet who play video games on their couch. Its like critiquing the architetiural skills of restaurant chiefs.
