I have high hopes for this film, it's being directed by the main producer of John Wick and recently directed Atomic Blonde which I liked more than I was expecting.

Also fucking Cable is in it. Finally.

Basically, the action won't be a shaky cam eyesore like BvS and Suicide Squad.

well of course not, those were DC movies. This is a Fox Marvel, which generally speaking makes them at least watchable.

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda turned off by their casting choice for Domino. I generally don't care about muh racebending but turning her into a sassy afro'd black woman with actual vitiligo just seems a bit much. Not really how I typically imagine the character.

But it still looks like a lot of fun and that's a pretty minor hang up.

I wasn't a huge fan of the first (I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it like most people), but this looks like it could be a lot better.
The first one was good, but what made it special was all the parents that brought their kids to see it despite all of the advertisements specifically pointing out it was an R-rated film.

Kinda like Sausage Party, never seen it but some coworkers sure did (WITH their kids) :drink:
