I don't even think this one is about politics or pandering any of that other shit.

Truth - bad comedy or jokes that feel like padding in a comedy is what should truly equal a movie being bad.

Deadpool 2 was never going to be as well received as the first one purely based on the fact that the shock value the first one had doesn't exist anymore. The people in these test audiences are unlikely not to have seen the first one and therefore have gone in expecting to experience the same sort of mix of shocked/grossed out and amused they did the first time round. Sequels to films with the impact of Deadpool never have the impact the original did. Look at Kingsman and Kingsman 2, both AMAZING films, well acted, funny, original movies but everyone I know who's seen it, myself included thinks the first one is better when objectively it isn't. I'm looking forward to Deadpool 2 but I know for a fact a part of me won't enjoy it like I enjoyed the first one.
