Change of Plan, as well. Now they can dump a full toolbox on a gen then hop in a locker for a boosted medkit with full charges. And if they happen to find another toolbox later, they can do it again. Scavenger isn't a particularly great for most people to begin with, but I think it might find some increased use if this goes live as-is

They added the jew-negro-goblin hybrid instead:

Mere sight of this disgusting abomination makes me irritated.
Yeaaaaaah so a little rant here. For a long time I had heard about Stranger Things, but never watched it. I had heard it was inspired by series like Silent Hill or Elfen Lied so I was slightly interested, but still never got around to watching it. Once it was announced that they were adding the Demogorgan in DBD I went ahead and watched it. I quickly found out that the series actual main focus was on these super obnoxious children (Eleven was fine in the first season though.) who are super obsessed with Dnd to the point of naming, and conflating EVERYTHING with it no matter how much their life is in danger or how little it actually makes sense, it's just insulting. I usually don't like child characters as I feel they ruin whatever they are in, but I think Stranger Things is the biggest example of this. For whatever reason actual movies from the 80s with child characters like E.T., The Sandlot, Goonies, Monster Squad, etc... don't bother me, but there's just something about modern child characters that get on my last nerve.
And I don't meant any disrespect to their actors obviously, but I could never properly get into or really enjoy Stranger Things because of these kids.

Bro, put that cretin behind a spoiler!

It's because Stranger Things isn't set in the 80s, it's set in the nostalgia version of the 80s that only exists for people that didn't actually experience the 80s.

So I forgot to mention, but while going through the thread I found some other Assym Horror Games recommended. First was Last Year which looks interesting, but isn't available right now as it's being rereleased later this year? There's the Pupper Master Game which I bought, but haven't tried yet. My favorite though is "Horror Legends" which gives me essentially everything I want with the horror archetypes, and its gameplay. Unfortunately there's barely anybody on. Though you can play the Killers against bots which is nice, although the bots seem a bit stupid. There isn't a proper Killer bot yet, but you can sort of use a Survivor to fight against the Pumpkin minion monsters. It looks like the developer is mostly working on the Puppet Master game which is understandable, but I hope he will add a proper Killer bot eventually. At the very least I can grind up points against bots to buy the in game stuff as there's quite a bit available.

I bought a Meta VR thing (mostly for Steam VR Games.), but the Blumhouse horror world has a couple sort of basic Asymmetrical modes. One where you play as M3gan and "tag" players which turns them into M3gans. And a mode where one player is a Killer (choice between M3gan, Babyface, and a Purge character.) while everyone else gets keycards to escape. Once the survivors die they turn into a ghost, and can set off various traps. It's very basic, but I've been enjoying it.

Same, it's probably my favorite so far too and the best I've found to replace Friday for me, but sadly it's obscure as all hell and nobody plays which is unfortunate. The few times I've managed to gather up friends to play it, it's a blast though.

My favorite killer is probably Keith but that's just because I'm a Halloween fag and I can't help but smile at the very on the nose Michael Myers ripoff.

So this just popped up for me on Steam which is unfortunate.

"Hey everyone,

We wanted to give you a heads up that as of February 25, 2026, Puppet Master: The Game and all DLC will be removed from Steam and will no longer be available for purchase.

If you already own the game, nothing is changing for you. You will still be able to download and play the game from your Steam library, along with any DLC you’ve purchased.

This game has been a huge passion project for our team, and we’re incredibly thankful to everyone who played, streamed, shared feedback, or supported us along the way. The community has meant a lot to us, and we truly appreciate all the love you’ve shown the game.

Thank you for being part of the Puppet Master journey.

October Games"

Never heard of Horror Legends but it looks cool and has a demo, so I guess I'll give that a try.
It has a free demo that lets you access one survivor and one killer and you can play with people who own the game at least, but it's already so cheap it probably wouldn't be hard to convince friends to buy it too. That's about the only way you're going to find games besides playing against bots. It's pretty fun though, the killers feel varied enough, they all have different gimmicks, ect. It's a neat little indie game.

Sad, but maybe this means they'll be giving more attention to Horror Legends now? :optimistic: It'd be nice to get more content like new maps at least.

On the subject of Horror Legends one big thing I don't like about it is that the survivors are all single pick only, besides Rick, if someone else picks that survivor you can't pick them too. I thought that was kind of shit, I could understand having that restriction on characters like the Sheriff (He can start with a gun.) or the red head girl (She's the final girl and has special abilities.) but having it be applied to every character besides Rick is kind of lame. That's my biggest complaint personally.

I don't really have any genuine complaints regarding killers other than some of them simply not being my style. I'd say my main is probably Keith.

The way he looks, the way he moves, he's literally just discount Myers and I love that. I don't recommend him to new players though because he's slow as shit so you have to be a little crafty with him and anticipate.
My second favorite is probably Phil, for when I want to play more aggressive style instead of creeping around.

I know his chainsaw is superior but the axe is so satisfying to use.
