"run by" is a bit of a stretch. Most of them don't know how any of this shit works. They get one street shitter into power, then through the power of Izzat, replace every other person they can get away with firing with a street shitter until the company begins to tank.

I really love this website. I’ve had this account since 2018 but I’ve lurked since the CWCki days. This site has been the absolute last bastion of free discussion of things on the Internet. I’ve made a lot of special memories on here and learned about a lot of interesting topics I may not have come across otherwise. Every other website is so awful these days that I almost exclusively spend my online time here now. Kiwi Farms has been more influential than you can imagine onto my life and the lives of many others.

I mean this sincerely: I’ve always had a great respect for you and your integrity, especially when under attack from what feels like the whole damn world. 99% of people wouldn’t ever even consider making a website in the first place; 99% of those remaining people wouldn’t have made one near this scale successfully; 99% of those remaining people wouldn’t have seen it through when things got tough the first time; 99% of those remaining people certainly wouldn’t have lasted this long after things got tough dozens more times since. I really hope you know how remarkable you are.

This shit is not fair. You have done nothing wrong. You have acted entirely within legal means in the US. And yet because of the meddling of some evil fucking people, you and this site have had to suffer for so long, for daring to still believe in freedom of speech and information access.

Even after keeping up with all of your site updates, posts, and grievances over the years, I’m still not going to pretend like I know what you’re going through just trying to keep this thing online. All I can surmise is that it’s been stressful and difficult. And you deserve to be able to relax.

So if someday this site shuts down, I will of course be very, very sad, and will probably entirely quit browsing the internet for fun. But it’s understandable, and anyone angry at you about that will have no leg to stand on. It’s not like they’ve ever attempted a project like this one before.

If this site goes Tor-only, I’ll be slightly inconvenienced, but I and many others will be there. It’s not like it’ll be our first time doing that anyhow.

If a miracle happens and you’re able to get some higher-grade DDoS protection — awesome. I’d love to see this place continue to grow.

Whatever you may do next, just think on it for a while and then do whatever you think is right for you. You’ve already done so much over the years and no one can rob you of your influence you’ve already had.

#DropKiwiFarms had the site inaccessible from the clearnet for months at a time. You think a few hours of downtime is going to kill the site? Everyone who was there at the time watched the site get crippled multiple times a week and eventually bounce back. @Fatpacks is a newfag and believes this is the end because he is retarded. His constant, whiny, bitchmade dooming (and the dooming from others like him) should be enough for everyone else to realize this is only temporary.

It's mostly because Null is dooming and blackpilling. So they're just taking his cues and screaming the sky is falling, when the reality is Null will wake up tomorrow and shit will be mostly back to normal, just with some considerations to be done for the short term future of the site. The farms aren't going anywhere unless shit really hits the fan, so long as we have Tor.

For what it's worth, I'm willing to tolerate the downtime. There's TOR, we've been here before, and I know this is unprecedented but so was the last time. Even if the forum is down (on clearnet), as long as Null keeps up the will then we have a chance. We have an important tool now, in that we can actually send money to support the Farms; our failstate is that Null has to go back to Whataburger to pay the bills.

If you've been thinking about donating, now is a good time.

Cloudflare is not invincible and has in fact had DDoS-related outages (and not just from their own unforced errors during regular operations). For opsec reasons I can't provide tangible details but I assure you they are not as bulletproof as they pretend to be.

Additionally, the attacks aren't just happening automatically, they're being run by actual people...people who have a vested interest in not attracting unwanted attention to themselves. If they're told to bring down CNN as a high profile target, won't that make people want to figure out how to stop them, as you say? They're not stupid. They'll just say no, we won't do that, governments will shut us down if we do that.

Okay, and so then the word gets around that these botnet operators are choosy in their targets, rendering them useless for most of the kinds of customers they try to attract. Not a great business model, eh? How many "no thanks" to how many different potential customers can a botnet get away with before people just move on to other options?

I used to lurk before I made my account and I remember the first KiwiCaust and how fucking annoying it was. I hope Matthew Prince gets ran over by one of those trannies or indians he loves so fucking much.
