DDoS attacks

I already have the onion address saved, but I use clearnet when possible because it's faster. I'm not sure if this is just a me issue or if it's automatic if viewing on clearnet, but the link in this post changes to kiwifarms.st.
If I don't hyperlink it does it show up?
kiwifarmsaaf4t2h7gc3dfc5ojhmqruw2nit3uejrpiagrxeuxiyxcyd.onion
the instructions in my post are specifically for tor.
you cannot use an onion address on the clearnet, which is why it reverts to the .st address.

if you're on tor, you can enter the .st address, or even just "kiwi farms" into the search bar in the center of the screen (which defaults to whichever browser you've selected; mine defaults to duckduckgo), and tor will connect via clearnet to the kiwifarms.st address. but if you enter https://kiwifarmsaaf4t2h7gc3dfc5ojhmqruw2nit3uejrpiagrxeuxiyxcyd.onion/ into the search bar at the top of the screen, tor will onionize the search and connect you to the big, bad, dark web.

The botnets are back and they are cheap and accessible.
For someone who knows where those ddos attacks are coming from and which services are being hired, would it be possible to contact the companies and inform them that the trannies hiring them have a lot on the line when it comes to kiwifarms and would be willing to pay any premium for a ddos attack?
If the slavs running these botnets jack up the price often enough, eventually even rich and well-connected brick-face freaks like Elliot Fong will run out of money.

Fuck the average person. The average person is a brain dead retard who is far too soft and infantilized when dealing with actual existential threats, essentially the same as cattle.
The average person is also who decides the shape of power that rules over them. This isn't a determination of whether or not phonebooking is moral. It's the harsh truth that law is mostly shaped by mass appeal, and that's why we have anti-phonebooking laws now.

Going to be real here, if you are truly dedicated to continuing running Kiwifarms, you need to ask yourself 2 things.

1. Why do you want to continue running Kiwifarms in the first place?

2. If there are certain things about the site you could sacrifice to keep it operational, what would those things be, and would it be worth the sacrifice?

The obvious biggest pain point is the phonebooking. I don't think the average person feels comfortable with the idea no matter what name you give it. If you asked someone walking down the street if they'd be comfortable with someone posting their phone number and/or address publicly without their permission, they would say no. The only way out of this is to either ban phonebooking or somehow convince the general public that phonebooking is cool and based and leads to positive outcomes, and that's harder than it looks. Even when dealing with animal crushers and child predators, many people would prefer just sharing info privately with law enforcement, rather than loudly broadcasting it and giving wannabe vigilantes incentive to do something really stupid and dangerous.
You realize that there has NEVER been a point in time where people have caved to these retards and they just stopped demanding things? They never do, that's their whole MO.

If you can't run a perfectly legal website (it is, no matter how much trannies try to convince people of the contrary, otherwise Josh would be in jail) then you've already reached the point of no return. Phonebooking isn't even the issue here, the real issue is that they don't like what's essentially a well-written, concise web document that details who the lolcow is and why they are a lolcow.

If they cared so much about "phonebooking" or whatever faggot term then they should be outside Google HQ and demand to know why their entire online footprint shows up when people just type their name in a search engine.

Is that necessarily a bad thing? It acts as a natural gate keeping out normalfags who aren't willing to download anything.

Obviously less traffic means less donations but not having to support clearnet could end up saving that.
It is indeed a double edged sword. It will lose traffic, but at the same time, one advantage I would imagine is that since normalfags wouldn't be willing to download anything. Normalfag content creator lolcows who have their information posted here won't have fast access here to be able to DFE immediately when some info gets published here. And other normalfags on the internet won't easily spread the knowledge of Kiwifarms harboring certain phonebooks of content creators as fast allowing more phonebooking before they DFE.

As the operator of a certified Kiwi Splinter Forum[TM] (not that I don't entirely support KF itself), I've seen something like this coming for a while. I think that a major problem the site faces is that it mixes too much content that is offensive to the PTB with the regular culture. We know by now exactly the kinds of things that get us these attacks. I'd say that 99.9% of the forum could exist on the clearnet relatively unmolested. We have a very clear understanding of who and what gets us targeted by bad actors with seemingly unlimited resources. In my experience, the vast majority of people who aren't insane ideologues (who are fewer in number than their internet presence would imply, and vastly less powerful now than they once were to boot) don't really care about KF one way or another, aside from perhaps a slight negative knee-jerk reaction to the whole 'doxxing and harassment' narrative that usually fades as soon as they're presented with evidence to the contrary.

If I were to engage in some pie-in-the-sky theory crafting for a minute, I believe the best practical solution would ultimately be to split the site into different forums or communities that remain tied together by a shared culture and a strict adherence to principles. This is not difficult in mechanical execution, but very difficult in terms of human capital; you'd need moderators and staff who are mature and sensible enough to not let their egos take over and keep their shared goal of enabling freedom of speech in mind. Rather than have one 'kiwifarms.net' with everything on a single host, there'd be a distributed network of sites that each focus on a particular topic, with shared user credentials between each one. Individual sites and hosts could still be attacked, but that would leave the other sites up and functional. How many users out of the total active member count actually browse the monkey torture threads or other content that has the PTB angry with us? I'd say a very small percentage. I certainly never do. I believe these threads should exist and that the documentation they have is of incredible value, but I have zero interest in exposing myself to that kind of horror show. I keep animals, I love animals. I want people who abuse animals killed, without mercy. But I just don't have the mental fortitude to delve into that world without coming away with nightmares and trauma, which is a perfectly rational response from a sane human being. If I were able to, I'd snap my fingers and put all of that content on its own separate instance of the site, still easily accessible to the sleuths who want to keep their investigations running, but no longer a millstone around the necks of users who just want to post about fat bitches cosplaying as hot anime girls.

I don't think this would be a magic bullet. I am an outsider to all of this, speaking purely from personal experience and my own limited intuition. I just know that KF itself is too big and obvious a target. Many people already communicate off-site to avoid being caught in these kinds of attacks and conduct their investigations more efficiently. I think that a network of gated communities that stand together but still far enough apart that they don't get caught in the crossfire directed at each individual community is ultimately the best solution. How would all this be coordinated and maintained? No idea, I'm not a network engineer. Again, this is just my instinct and intuition.

The far left isn't who I'm talking about. I'm talking about Joe and Jane Everyman. Those people find phonebooking generally reprehensible, and there's more of them than the extremist left wing people. That's what's going to decide how easy it is to keep Kiwifarms up.

You talk like a faggot. Sacrificing Kiwi Farms' ability to expose retards and true scumbags with publicly available information would be to kill the soul of the site. Fuck the average person. The average person is a brain dead retard who is far too soft and infantilized when dealing with actual existential threats, essentially the same as cattle.
I agree partially. I don't think as many normies would care about phonebooking these days. Their entire lives are posted on the Internet for all to see. Normies are simple creatures. Just use the right words.

"Hey bro, you know how socials are tracking lots of stuff about us right??"
"Yea, why?"
"Would you care if there was a site that tracked sadists and shitty people to hopefully get them arrested??"
"Not really. Doesn't affect my day."

That's all you gotta do. Don't mention Chris-Chan. Don't talk about Ralph. Leave Fong and Prince out of the convo. Weaponize the apathy of the normie. Use their not-caring to your advantage.

Also, bro is talking like a fag, and his shits all retarded

Funny how this started after Patrick S. Tomlinson received his court settlement. I guess the Kiwi Farms will be shut down after all. See you all in prison, stalker children.

100% right.

Our enemies don't want concessions, they want total destruction. Concessions are just chum in the water.

Nah. People in this site absolutely need to learn to use the private tag. A huge portion of information is already publicly available elsewhere because retards just keep willingly posting it:

Este contenido es privado.

In fact, @Null saar, would you kindly add the private tag as a button on the text editor for posting? Maybe a rule to post phonebooks between private tags? Again, even if the information is publicly available elsewhere.

Or another angle - Null has a lot of AI power at his disposal for programming shit. And a perfect honeypot for bots, this website.

Each of the bots has a source address - can they not be traced in a number of ways and an automated complaint made to their ISP?

Thought it was a tutorial for people who've never used tor before, who would be viewing on something like chrome or brave. My bad.

Doesn't wikipedia do the same thing under the mugshot on really any page about someone they hate enough to give a "best known for?" Would it sound better if you tried explaining it somewhat like that? "They write wiki articles on cyberbullies and pedophiles who overshare online and then open it for discussion" comes off a lot better than whatever it is wikipedia itself says about KF.
That being said I have never opened any of the watch people die threads so maybe I'm just being baselessly optimistic.

Has anyone ever been arrested for something some kiwi or soyteen found? is there some kind of law somewhere that makes it harder to bring someone to court if it's posted here first? There are plenty of actual criminals documented on this site but afaik none of them have faced any meaningful consequence for it.
I did not know what "animal crusher" meant until today. :(

If I were to engage in some pie-in-the-sky theory crafting for a minute, I believe the best practical solution would ultimately be to split the site into different forums or communities that remain tied together by a shared culture and a strict adherence to principles.
Or just relegate the zoosadist section of the forum to the tor site while informing the sleuths of the move, hopefully migrating them, but A) I don't know if that is possible at all and B) we're still talking about a gay compromise.

Not only are you a faggot, but you're a retard. The average person goes wherever they get told they can go politically. And even then the average retards aren't the ones who shape policy. That's an incredibly naive and retarded view of who makes political decisions, although it really shouldn't be that surprising coming from someone who's solution to save the Farms is to kill what makes it worth saving.
