dude anyone can talk to sales. to this fucking day I get calls from COGENT trying to sell me shit and I have to tell them that their CEO personally hates my fucking guts and will get me kicked out of Polish datacenters.

Keep expressing interest, so that their sales team has to keep getting overruled by management. Anyone who expresses interest has their lead profile upgraded, and upgraded again as they move through the stages of their sales process. Sales people doing cold calls are under constant pressure to meet quotas; if promising leads keep getting slapped out of their monthly win column, they'll get frustrated and desperate. A sales team hating their management isn't a great way to grow revenue.

Or it'll happen twice and they'll stop calling you, a minor win either way.

Yeah, one of the smartest dudes I've ever met had a long history at Akamai, and from the stories he told me, they seemed way more competent than your average FAGMAN jeet.

Don't know if this has been asked yet, but given the size of the botnet and the fact that its services are being sold and used against other sites, is there any chance that it will get targeted by law enforcement?
