I thought James Gunn's connections and inside knowledge of all of Hollywood's dirty deeds would protect him, but if this is true it means Supergirl was such a bomb he can't avoid projects being canceled. I wonder if he will be rushing his Batman and Wonder Woman movies into production before they can be canceled.

kind of an aside, but Supergirl's marketing was so pittiful that Microslop has a punch card for their rewards program for using Bing unironically that rewards you with a free digital copy of Superman 2025, alongside some "exclusive" Supergirl wallpapers as you go through it.... which in itself is a damning indictment of how bad Superman 2025 did finantially given it's going to be a year old tomorrow.

I cannot imagine Christopher Reeve Superman being upset about tweets, it's such a pathetic dumb thing to cause Superman to crash out and start screaming about, at most Reeve Superman would have been bemused by the whole thing.

Superboy Prime wouldn't have taken this shit lying down, I'm just saying.

Superman furiously barging into Luthor's office and demanding Krypto back is another story. For someone who's a reporter in his civilian life, you'd think he would realize this would mean bad press for the Man of Steel.

Supes is the type of character where an emotional outburst is supposed ot be a big 'oh shit' moment because getting him to lose his cool is an achievement. It should not be so casual and easy to write off.

I mean, mine are since I was expecting it to be 'Hal is the real villain and has already gone through his Paralax arc so the better Green Lantern needs to humiliate him'.
