I pretend it never existed. The chemistry of the original show was great because Maddax and Maddox were completely stubborn and had bad chemistry, but still did the show. Maddox was extremely liberal and a virtue signaler, Maddax was a good counter to that. I can't handle the latest show because the rants are more boring and forced. It's unfunny.
Maddox was a liberal? No, he made his money selling the persona of an uber-macho chauvinist pirate. The virtue-signaling came later, after he split with Juju. They were on the same page for most of their partnership. Juju just was better at being charismatic.

I would not be surprised if that is the case. Maddax likes not paying people. He stiffed content creators, Asterios, Sean, etc. I’m sure he hates having to pay Vedo anything, especially since Maddax is the type to believe that he’s the real star of the show. I’m sure he sees that shrinking BPITU Gaytreon as something that should only belong to him. I think Maddax sees Vedo as a staff member of his show, instead of a co-host. So he sees rising costs to raise a kid, his shrinking Gaytreons, and I’m sure he resents doing both TDS and BPITU. Couldn’t happen to a nicer person.

Per its Gaytreon, it makes slightly over $6k per month. Splitting it with Vedo means that there is $3k per month / $36k per year that Maddax believe is money that belongs to himself. He lives in his dream mansion in one of the most expensive cities in the world.
