Since Fatshark revealed that Skitarii will have 4 voices but no male/female version like other classes. (but you likely can change the pitch). Now on reddit and discords people started jumping onto that 'trans mechanicus meme again. If anything it only made sense because cogboys would likely had their vocal cords replaced so they can sound whatever they want regardless of what they were born as, and that their body would be replaced so much it's hard to know what their sex actually is from naked eyes. That's sci-fi logic that exists on a different axis to when people claim to be trans/NB today.
This is a devil's advocate, because if these people want people to take their gender ideology seriously, maybe using a dystopian cult that tells you to replace your flesh with machinery as an allegory for trooning out might not be the best idea, and yet gender nonsense is always saddled on Adeptus Mechanicus when it comes to recent 40k media.
