His whole "I demand an apology or I will not return to Twitch" tough guy speech today was just so he could act as if he is leaving Twitch on his own volition and on his own terms.

So now the narrative will be that he chose to leave Twitch because he has integrity and won't allow anyone to disrespect him. The truth of course is that Twitch essentially fired him and he's scurrying to YouTube like the roach that he is.

I wonder if he is even capable of curbing his toxicity? Because I don't see YouTube putting up with his shit any more than Twitch did, and if he loses that platform he is well and truly fucked.

if phil never banned anyone for the sake of his petty ego, and took banter like a champ
he'd still be an asshole, but a consistent asshole, and i'd be okay with him

This is why I think Phil is lying/being incredibly misleading about why he lost partnership.

We've seen past instances where someone has been outright banned for using hate speech/slurs/whatever. Hell, we saw it the other day with Phil. That kind of thing will get you banned, even if it just a temporary thing.

Phil, when he lost his partnership, wasn't banned. It isn't like Mario rules where committing an infraction is like getting hit when you have a power up. I have a strong feeling the email he received is specifically about his most recent negger ban and he's applying it to the partnership situation. The timing just seems a little off, that they're only know supposedly addressing the partnership email, which just so happens to also be about an incident that happened a few days ago, for an offense that they'd normally ban you for. He also seemed to get the ban email right away when that incident happened, but it took over a month for the same offense in a partnership email?

IMO, he doesn't want to own up for breaking their upload terms of service thing, which he vehemently denies is a thing, or insists that he did it for so long that it's unfair to suddenly come down on him for it. He has even more reason to deny it since it was predicted on here. I think it also makes sense why he lost partnership, but wasn't even temporarily banned.

Plus, it's Phil. He's not exactly known for honest transparency. That's why I mentioned being incredibly misleading, since I bet the email he's reading is real, but is about a different incident, one which Twitch already reversed and admitted was an accident.
 
I'm a little late to this but "Punishing someone for something they didn't do IS ILLEGAL" has to be one of the best Phil quotes ever. "Life isn't always fair" is a concept most people learn as a child. Imagine growing up so spoilt, so coddled, that at 40 you want to throw a tantrum over it.

Not getting into the freedom of speech autistic screeching side of things but thought it worth adding some pretty basic context to Phil's massive spaz out and his 'if I done dis I wud be banned so I didendoo it' idiocy:

Twitch makes some big flowery bullshit about how the difference between being a Partner and an Affiliate is about being a community 'role model'. If you're a good boy and don't cause problems, you're a role model and can get some cash. Both can get monetisation but there's guidelines and terms that need to be met to get the privilege of being able to monetise your content this way:

Key criteria:

- make us money and draw in viewers
- stream unproblematic shit
- keep it up

He wasn't banned - nobody forced him off Twitch other than himself after chimping out despite being a toxic cunt for years. He can still stream there and rake in tips and Twitch doesn't give two shakes of piss if he does so, they're just not gonna give him a slice of their pie because he doesn't adhere to their guidelines. And he's been trying to get his viewers to pay in methods that bypass Twitch making a cut for months - that's practically shafting your business partner anyway.

If he wasn't such a massive fucking crybaby thinking he's been wronged because he's been kicked out of the good boys club for being a dickhead, he could be logged in to Twitch right now collecting pity pennies - fuck all to do with violating his freedom of speech. Twitch doesn't want to give him a share of the ad money they make because he is 'advertiser unfriendly' (to borrow a YouTube term).

Plenty autists make money on Twitch without a partnership, Phil's just angry that Twitch don't 'love him and his content' any more.

didnt have the focus or vocabulary to post this but i think its exactly this. he knew the reason the day he got banned and knows he cant fight it and hes constantly flirting between latching onto the hypersensitive grievance guys or the culture war pundit gimmick and the latest ban has him considering the 2nd option right now. if he gets his partnership back tomorrow and tevin gets his taken away for the exact same reason he'll be drunk as fuck the following stream lecturing everyone on how Words Matter in gleeful pigroach form.

nothing ever comes out of this and hes frankly not smart or disciplined enough to branch out like LTG.
