KingKozatof, you literally complain at every single RPG I've every played and said they're all boring. Then why are you here? If you know you don't like RPGs and you know I was playing a throwback RPG today, why are you here? Realtalk, why? Why sit here and complain all day?

I just never understood that. I HAVE A SCHEDULE! You know what I mean? I have a schedule, you know what I'm playing. So if you're like: "I don't like RPGs, but I'm going tocome and complain on the RGP stream that RPGs are boring." NO! Just don't come by then! Seriously! KingKozatof, you've been banned a million times and unbanned a million times for things like this, so you should know better. You should know to not sit here and complain when there are people who are enjoying it. Don't sit here and complain that you personally don't like it! Alright? No one cares.

I totally understand that people come by and watch my streams just to hang out and that they're friends with a lot of people in the stream chat, so "I'm gonna come by no matter what Phil's playing, I wanna hang out with my friends in the chat. Fine! But then you don't have the right to sit here and complain about the game being played, you just don't! You don't! Because there's other people who are enjoying themselves, they don't want to be drugged(?) down by that, okay? So chill out with that stuff.

See, here's what I don't get: I played Dragon Quest XI, super long playthrough, and we had a core group of people, probably about 200 to 300 people who always showed up to watch me play DQXI. Even though you might argue the game wasn't the most riveting, we all had fun. We hung out, we had discussions, it was a great playthrough because it was a SOCIAL PLAYTHROUGH. That's how RPGs work! That's how they work on streams! So if you're bored: TALK TO ME ABOUT SOMETHING! Just don't sit there and complain that you're bored. Talk to me about something and we'll have a conversation that'll be FUN.

I have a lot of words going through my mind when trying to describe DSP's playthroughs, but social isn't one of them. :lol:

Wrote a long paragraph about this then realized he'll probably just contradict everything he says here in the next day or two so why bother. Like tomorrow he'll bitch that the chat isn't just a place to hang out and if that's all they are there for get the fuck out. He just says whatever he has to say to justify whatever point he is trying to make in the moment. Anything that happened before that moment doesn't matter and he won't be consistent in the future, so whatever.

Sometimes he goes on a tangent, usually involving gay jokes or male body parts or bodily functions (can anyone explain his obsession with this btw?) but for the most part it's a one word answer and then he goes quiet. Fun fact - this is pretty much what made me become a detractor. During his playthrough of MGS, the commentary could be summed up as follows:
  • If he was playing, he was complaining about something (seriously, almost 100% of the time). Always the same topics (crappy controls, things not working the way he expected them to any human with a CELL in their BRAIN brain would THINK, the game not explaining things to him). He had to look up how to use a fucking ration for fuck sake...
  • If someone called him on the codec he would talk over the dialogue (and miss all the key info - where to go, what to do, etc.) with some cringe worthy commentary depending on who was talking (e.g. whenever Mei Ling called he would go "CHING CHONG LING LONG DING DONG AHUH HUH HUH")
  • He would never use the codec because who the fuck wants to make calls in an action game DOOD?
  • If there was a cutscene involving Meryl or Sniper Wolf, he'd be making some lewd jokes about "BOOBIES in the VAGINACKACKACK".
  • If the cutscene didn't have a female character, it doesn't matter. Just replace "BOOBIES" with "DICK", and "VAGINACKACKACK" with "BUTHOLE". For example, in the scene after the Psycho Mantis fight, he was talking about shooting him in the dick, or stepping on his balls with high heels.
His sense of humor seriously does make me question whether his brain stopped developing in middle school. I mean, I admit I used to laugh at stuff like this, but only because I was 12 years old (and I probably still knew more about taxes than he does now).

I imagine the majority of us know it'd be a drag to your audience to discuss your inability to cover taxes daily.

A few weeks ago Phil had a subnautica stream where he did kind of a 'fireside chat' post stream and was making more in tips hanging out then focusing on some sort of image that he has to upkeep as a serious variety streamer.

He'd make more today putting on a green hat slugging some brews with chat today but instead we're gonna get an Apex struggle stream. I imagine viewership will be lower due to people doing things today, and we may even hear Phil criticize the act of drinking beers. Because as you remember, he had a RAGING hang over after 3 beers on an empty stomach.

Support today will be AVERAGE as Phil scratches the goutee in self disarray.

He lowered the leaderboard subcount from 491 to 487 while the music and slideshow were playing. Didn't even do !subcount, just got it from his dashboard.

I love this. He's so sensitive about it going down that he's hoping no one will notice it.
