Phil is useless in general, so I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised he thinks he's funny when he's not.

He thinks he's observational as well but the most he observes is 'wow did you see X. Oh my God I can't believe X. Ack ack X happened."

Considering how long the most conversational he's had to he is that kind of empty word garbage, I can't even imagine what he's like when he's not 'focused on working'.

Imagine making small talk with this motherfucker.
 
Phil talking about him changing his "comedy" style is actually kind of funny, given how many times he has insisted he should never change his style and the reason people watch him is because he's so raw and genuine. It's usually his go to excuse whenever it comes to editing/using a green screen/just about everything else even novice streamers figured out how to do years ago. It also flies in the face of everything Phil has said about people being there for the gameplay and not him as an entertainer. Just another example of Phil trying to lazily rewrite history.

I’m sure the toilet is more willing to accept bacon grease than whatever comes out of his tainted rump. A steady diet of frozen meals and Schwanns must make more some voltatile pipe busting butt loafs.
 
Phil is funny but just not in the way he wants to be. Sometimes his juvenile humor is funny because of how immature it is- it’s a 30 something man using jokes people make when they’re half his age. When the game treats something seriously and he doesn’t, it stands out and you want to laugh at him.

Other times are when he fails at easy stuff like obvious puzzles or doesn’t pay attention to something in the game.

tl;dr version: DSP is only funny when he’s trying to be taken seriously.

I still can't get over the fact that a gaming channel had to post a video of a man unclogging a toilet. I've seen people pissing on shitty games and consoles who were at least sticking to their theme. It's not as bad as a video about a fire alarm while a game box just happens to be placed on a sofa, but it's certainly very Phil.

That video is cringy as fuck, but it's also kind of sad. Despite the ridiculousness if it we see Phil actually smiling and joking around with someone he maybe actually cared about at the time. It's almost like a glimpse of a normal person/couple. It might be the most real evidence that could have had a normal life and been a functioning adult before he destroyed his psyche with paranoia, greed, bitterness and gin.

Yep, that's why he shits on Panda so much now. It's not because of 'oh Phil's an asshole and burns Bridges with everyone'. He def does that, and I legit think he doesn't give a shit about John or Howard and thinks he's totally in the right about everything that happened between them. But if you look at vlogs with Panda, he seemed to genuinely be having a good time and meshed with her to where it's the most, to use a Dave term, 'normal human' I can think of seeing him. So, I think he legit was fucked up by her leaving. It's likely why he had to rebound so fast. And I buy zero of his 'soulmate' talk. That's, again, more overcompensating because it fucked him up. I don't care what we don't see off camera because of his new keep my private shit off the internet thing, no one will be able to convince me that he acts like he did in this video with Panda with Kat. The whole thing just gives a vibe of this giant pall hanging over that house and I bet they hardly talk.

Anyways, that's my two cents. I'm not quite sure what happened in the end like the video where he blows her off and seems legit annoyed by her, maybe he was. The ER thing I took less as a him being shitty as a result of not liking her, that was just classic selfish, can't cope with anything that disrupts my schedule Phil behavior that he would have done even if it was his mom. Maybe he was just so depressed over how ultimately shitty his life was becoming and he withdrew, or maybe he did start to care less about her but when she left it retriggered something... He did say later, explicitly, that he was 'hurt' at that time because they were already broken up and he even said some really shitty and petty things to back that up. Of course, I trust my own read of a situation more than I trust anything that comes out of his mouth. Him explaining a situation makes me LESS likely to think I'm getting the story. Anyway, at one time, he genuinely seemed to act like she was 'the one'

Streamchat: But Pubg is boring since you've played it for so long, can you play some other multiplayer game? Or maybe Yakuza 6 since you're gonna do that anyway?

Phil: No, I deleted them all, I'm not re-downloading them, and they suck anyway! (ruling out Fortnite and COD) And I REFUSE to play Yakuza 6 other than the designated time tonight!

His constant fallback to Pubg must be getting pretty aggravating and boring for his fans. He's just blowing all his time screwing around on pre-stream, playing games that people don't want to see him play, and then gets mad when nobody gives him money.
