A good example of that is when he gets his ass kicked off Blip.tv, he called the racist part a joke and the people that reported him for had no sense humor!

Phil probably thinks you can't be racist against Asian people because as with everything he only has a surface level understanding of racism and he thinks it only applies to black people.

It really triggers me when Phil talks about kahmedy, like he actually considers himself a comedian. I make funny shitposts on here sometimes but I'm not a comedian. Phil has never said anything funny in his life. Just going "WOAH TITS ACK ACK ACK" whenever a female character appears on screen isn't comedy.

His brand of “comedy” is only appealing to children who don’t know any better and the ignorant. Phil’s fanbase in a nutshell.

The thing is, children are drawn to streamers. I don’t have statistics but I’d bet 50-60% of stream watchers are under 18. My 11 year old nephew loves Fortnite streamers, and even when I stream I get a mainly younger audience. The thing is, when you treat your younger audience like adults they will behave as such in your chat. Phil acts like an ignoramus so his chat follows suit.

He relies on bad taste jokes and extremely juvenile shit an adolescent would find hilarious.
 
Anyone else noticed when you go to DSP's patreon page you're redirected to a new membership tab. I think he's responsable for this as I looked up some other pages like Spoony's and they don't have it, so my guess is he was the one who created/added that membership tab.

he knows what it means which is why he immediately launched into a heavily worded "verily, i doth not know what thou meaneth" speil
if he didn't comment on it, or if he was like "that's a strange amount".
hell, the best action he could have made was say something "look at the racist detractors, what a waste of money."

the biggest problem phil has with his comedy is that it's just shit
you could tell a racist joke and if you stick it, only the most snowflaky of snowflakes will REEEE over it
phil can't do that, all he can do is guffaw at his own shit while repeating a "X IS Y" joke over and over

that's what his whole "last nazi" joke was "THESE ARE JEWS THESE ARE JEWS" over and over and over
this is the kind of guy who wouldn't get "the aristocrats"

After his big pre-stream explanation of how his racist khaamedy used to be acceptable, he started the game, and while H1Z1 failed to connect to servers, Phil started talking in a "gay" voice -- he started doing an effeminite lispy gay stereotype character. Then said sarcastically, "Whaaaat? Are you suggesting that I'm making fun of homosexual men? If that's the conclusion you jumped to then you must be homophobic! Ack ack ack." Then he kept doing it for about another minute.

It was an obvious follow-up to everything he'd just said about how "nobody was ever really offended" by his humour.

Bad taste jokes and juvenile humour can be really fucking funny if you do them right, just to be clear. One of my favourite routines ever is by Stewart Lee, who does an extended bit about throwing up in his mum's bathroom which ends with him vomiting into the gaping anus of Christ.

I guess it's just the fact that Phil sneers at people like Pewdiepie for being lowest common denominator trash for retards, which isn't wrong, but then his """jokes""" are always infinitely worse. I've literally never seen a humanoid female character in a game Phil didn't make a tit, sex, or rape joke about. Yet this faggot goes off like he's some edgy comic provocateur.
 
The only comedian you could possibly compare Phil to is Amy Schumer. They're both unfunny but are convinced by sycophants to be otherwise, neither of them can stop focusing on female anatomy because they have zero personality, and both of them have tits.

I would also argue that they both probably smell similar. Sweat, semen, and failure. A pungent aroma.
 
Observation 1: I will gladly say it again, history tells us who's words should be taken with caution. And Phil is the guy who you shouldn't trust at all. He's infamous for pissing at every doorstep, being ignorant, having very damaging opinions and lying at every opportunity. Ever heard his "clarification" of his shill-tweet? It's much worse than the tweet implied (Theo made a video about it), I was shocked how shitty he could get. So why, in the name of all what's funny, should someone take DSP's "jokes" as jokes? Maybe he thinks that way while flailing arms and punching in everybodies face, but since when are we able to read minds? We just see a fat coach taco making fun of other people without punchline.

Observation 2: Jokes work when they're transported the right way but mostly professional comedians have the screentime to do that. They don't just yell "JEWS" and that's the joke. Their comedy is scripted and structured, have a start, middle and end. They are paid to say this shit, you know they just make jokes. DSP is not a comedian, he is a normal guy who does no edits and describes everything his "observational comedy" allows him to, in the time he's able to until the next observation hits. His shtick is not comedy, it's begging while playing videogames. So when you can't tell if it's a joke, either you don't get it and/or the joke is sold badly. Phil is like a dude who walks with you and yells "Look, a fat woman! Ack ack ack, ohmagad she is so fat. Look how fat she is. Look! (etc)", there is no joke, it's just an assholish behaviour.

So these are my 5 cents. 99% of the time I can't tell if he makes a joke or if he's just an asshole for the sake of being an asshole because he never was funny to begin with.

This appears to be A/B testing. I get it on some systems and I don't get it on others.
 
Phil is so addicted to rewriting his history that eh ends up making himself look way sketchier than if he just admitted he screwed up. But doing that would shatter his tiny, fragile ego. So instead he bloviates about how he dindu nuffin wrong, and its all this grand conspiracy by "haters".
