Graphtreon only checks once a day, so pledging to himself/BSV pledging to him and then immediately rescinding it wouldn't appear on there.

This just seems like a self-defeating effort, if Phil is inflating numbers. Even the hardcore fans know the usual whales, which is why no one bothers trying to one-up them on cheers. This is at least the third time in recent months the goal was around $200 short and an 'anonymous patron' saved it. Unless you're BSV, why would you bother with high donations in the future if he's down by similar amounts in later months? Mr.Anonymous is just going to save the day at the last minute, right?

I'm highly suspicious that Phil himself is footing this "last minute huge pledge!" on Paymetons. Notice that these pledges didn't happen for events that he wasn't really looking forward to (the first Halloween event and the PUBG stream). Of course, there's not enough data to confirm this suspicion, but I'll be paying attention to it in the near future, to see if the pattern gets confirmed.

Why does he write a novel to explain the simple concept of a themed stream? Every time he has to explain every step. Just hit the bullet points and end it.
I don't need to know the amount needed, it's up top. Don't need to know the month and for god sakes the man has no social life, he can pin down an exact date.
Here is a much smaller example of how he could do it:
Let's get into the season and stream some holiday themed video games on Twitch, December 22nd! I'll be decked out in full Christmas gear and even include lights!
For even more entertainment I'll be sippin' on the ole' liquid holiday spirit. That's right eggnog will join the mix and who knows what'll happen?!
Pledge 5 dollars today and even decide what festive games I'll play! The worse you can find, the better folks. Let me have it!

Caramelised onion flavoured chicken patty (FRESH).
Lettuce, red onion, 2 slices of (FRESH) vine ripened tomato.
Brioche bun with Italian dressing "fuck" (LIGHT ITALIAN DRESSING).
He should be honest and just flat out say he bought some boxed pattys, i dont think he knows what fresh means.

Keep in mind this is the same man who on a daily basis regurgitates the same talking points he's been using for years and stretching it out into not just unnecessary, hour long pre streams but also weekly preview vlogs, Q&As in videos as well as streams, various social media postings and we can't forget giant text walls just to chide internet randos on his tumble weed forums. Keeping things simple is an alien concept to him.

oK peeps, given that the large patreon pledge has been independently verified by several people in here who are fairly trustworthy we can probably stop questioning whether it actually occurred. It most likely did.

I won't bitch about it, but I'll doubt it until actual proof is shown.

A script which checks the Patreon API or some shit every 1 minute verified it. That's as close as you're going to get. At this point its pretty much 99.5% verified, there is no point in people yapping about the 0.5% possibility that it didn't happen.

There is no point in discussing whether it happened or not for the next 300 pages. People give large amounts of money to Phil and as much as people may not like that, it happens. It has happened.
