I mean it's true that Nintendo does paywall nostalgia A LOT...but Phil again is like the worst person to be talking about "value" of your money.
This guy rewards $150 by putting on a goofy piece of clothing, he jacks up his memberships from $2 to $4 because he knew his audience would just pick the "el cheapo" option, and on top of that memberships don't have any "unique" special rewards.
So he is doing what Nintendo is doing...where they put out something and just except their fans to conform to it. Maybe he has such a hate boner for Nintendo because he knows they are doing it better than he is!
