Phil's business sprung a big leak of information (bank) and by his own standards, he should be going out of business, yet he'd be the first to call bullshit if we were to claim it.
Also the point he makes is just plain wrong, considering companies he's hinged his hopes on before. Sony had big breached duing the ps3 days yet have been round long enough to have the ps5, a console phil held up as a big investment. Capcom had massive leaks yet they must still be in business as the sf servers for favourite console game are still running.
He is so quick to dance on people's graves that he starts before they've even been planned where it'll be, let alone started digging. Hell there isn't even a corpse yet.

PayPal is for all intents and purposes now a bank and has been for some time. Someone attempting a leak from a bank like what happened with Twitch would be vanished the night before they could try it.

Allow it? No but banks are just good at covering up breaches so the public are blissfully unaware of when they occur and the magnitude of their attack. Probably most attacks go unreported because some head of bank security doesn't quite fancy telling their bosses they got hacked by a 14 year old in a different country.

Mr Business Degree responding to a flawed premise.
1. The entertainment industry is not the software dev industry. A guitar maker may not earn as much as the rock star.
2. Profit is less spread with streaming. You have the platform, streamer, and maybe a payment processor or two. A game dev has to pay out employees (incl. benefits), marketing, printing for physical copies, hosting on digital marketplaces, licenses for dev kits, etc.
DSP is so far from actual work that he forgets that salaried employees are not compensated the same for overtime (if at all). So he calls it 'slave labor'. DSP hates paying for vidya and vidya being delayed. What does he think unionizing will do? Is he willing to play indies games exclusively if there's a Game Dev Union strike?
In summary, I would argue thus: Gin.
